I'm in the same boat.  I don't really buy cd's anymore.  Digital for the truck and portable player.  Vinyl for the house.  $300 usd is pretty steep.  Probably wait a while and see if the price ever comes down.
originally the Telephantasm vinyl box set was, I honestly can't recall. But I bought it at HMV for $49.99 CDN not long after.

I have everything he ever put out, saw Chris and SG dozens of times, even that last Roseland NY show in 95...epic.
I cant touch this tho. Too sad. Maybe too soon.
It's still really, really, really hard for me to listen to his voice.

I’ll probably go for the CDs, I just can’t justify the price of the box set.
Would be nice to have some of that on vinyl though...

I want it... but I can't afford it. Maybe it will become cheaper at some point.

I'm in the same boat as a lot of you. Just want the vinyl, but some of the stuff in the superbox seems to be included just for the sake of adding more crap (i.e. the mircofibre vinyl cleaning cloth). Have most of this on vinyl already. Wish it was just $200 without all the gimmicky stuff

  • I'm hoping the $300 super deluxe comes down in price as well. In addition to the complete track list on vinyl, it looks like the DVD is exclusive to the SDE as well.

Has anyone found the SDE for sale anywhere other than the official Chris Cornell web shop? If it's exclusive to his web site, then it probably won't ever come down in price :disappointed:

  • The super duper set is on Amazon, so hopefully it will come down. I'll buy it if it gets closer to $200. For now, I have the 4 CD set ordered for $45.

Those TOTD cuts from the Paramount. Damn people. I'm glad they put these on here, but it drives me a little crazy because I would love to hear more. Mike's work on 'Reach Down'? Holy fuck.

Does anyone know which show Stargazer is from? I still cannot believe he’s dead. This release is great, but just makes me incredibly sad.
