Of all the over priced items here for the past 8 years or so, I've never understood the fascination with this record set. The CD set sounds great. It'd be great to have the vinyl set, but the asking prices for them is bonkers.  Enjoy the music - however you choose to listen :)

Your right. But look on eBay.  Someone said they were selling 1161.  But it’s a different number in the photo

I’m JUST seeing that but it seems fishy. No actual photos of the # and only four total pics of the box set, so maybe the person was wrong about their # for sale. Copy of their was not in as good of shape as mine and the seller rating was 250 feeeback with 96.8% positive. Mine is 1511 feedback with 100% positive. Have done a lot of sales buying and selling on there (eBay) and here.

Any new realizations... would have to wait...
Til he had more time,... more time...
Time to dream,... to himself... he waves goodbye,

I wasn't hassling the guy.  Just asking the question.  I'd been following a couple Bennys on the bay for about a month.  Thought I'd seen that specific number on there.

no worries, I just see people get constantly berated here for selling their PJ - related stuff.

Ya, seriously. Not that anyone here has been that bad, but I’m constantly surprised by threads where people try and guilt someone with a rare item to sell for less (particularly when they’re selling on here for less than they could likey get on eBay). As if the roles were reversed, they would sell for any less.

OP, good luck with your sale. For prospective purchasers considering pulling the trigger, if you can afford it, do it! I bought one about 1.5 years ago as my “last gift to myself”. As my wife and I were expecting our first child about 6 mos later and I knew I’d never be able to justify the cost once I had more responsibilities. For me, the record has brought so much pleasure, can’t really even put it into words! That deep wine coloured wax looks gorgeous spinning on my table.

Tell me about it.  My son is 19 months.  At least he thinks it's fun to go down to dada's room in the basement and listen to records.  My wife puts up with plenty of my concert escapades.  No way I could justify buying a benny now. Only reason I watch eBay is in hopes of finding a trashed one that someone is getting rid of for cheap.
