The Swedish government has decided to send up to eight Gripen fighter jets to help ensure that weapons and aid to Ukraine reach their destination, working with NATO allies.
They are also joining NATO’s air surveillance over Poland. These decisions strengthen Ukraine and make Europe, including Sweden, safer. The government always puts Sweden’s security first.
