    I'm sorry too. I'm glad you had great times together when they were afforded to you.

    Thank you for sharing your story. we will be there and hoping they play this and make mention of your son Matthew.

    If they play this, my wife and I will be in tears, our son Matthew passed on 12/08/2007. As you said, they will always be Forever Young.

    I've learned not to get to emotional when thinking or discussing this, so I don't embarrass myself.
    But reading through this post, I do it with eyes full of tears. 
    So, Thank You so much. True condolences, even from total strangers, really do help. So........

    I knew nothing about this virus when it first hit Matt, but took a crash coarse overnight (I wasn't sleeping anyway) to learn what I could.
    The scary part is it could happen to anyone. Usually young adults, but they aren't certain how or why.
    Matt had a cold for a couple of weeks. Then he started to get unsteady on his feet, so we took him back to the hospital.
    There has been huge advances in the battles against Cancer or Heart disease, but when it comes to the brain. We were told that is the newest frontier. They seemed very frustrated in how little they could do.

    Not a day at goes by where I don’t fight back tears, most days I can control it, but some days they just don’t stop. 

    And I  in no way want to derail this discussion Ski-bum, wishing you and your family the best.

    So sorry for your loss. I have a daughter that is just about to turn 1 and my love for her is unfathomable. I cant imagine what you have went through. 

    of all of the song requests on this board lately, this one deserves to happen the most. I hope the guys see it and play it at Fenway.
