Amazing night. Imagine and comfortably numb covers were nailed. Release escapes me again. Also to the asshole who befriended me cause of the celtic top being similar to sporting Lisbon whilst at the same time taking sly gropes of my partners ass.... not cool.  Noticed you clapped when Eddie mentioned rights for women especially how they should be treated by us. She kept this quiet til the end of the show in respect to those around us. That aside other amazing night from this band and she still enjoyed her first pearl jam show and has the bug.
    ... what the fuck... tenclubber?
Jeezuz I would have smacked  the bloke

this song is meant to be called i got shit, itshould be called i got shit tickets-hartford 06 -
  • My partner didn't make me aware until after the show. Not sure it he was a ten clubber or not.

I like the funkier Porch.  One of things I like about Pearl Jam is the connection with their fans.  Eddie and Mike move freely into the crowd, and the group plays to those sitting behind the stage.  It would be great if Pearl Jam incorporated a B stage at the rear of the stadium so those fans could also get a personal experience the people in front and back stage receive.  For example, perhaps they could do one of their encores at the far end of the arena.  It could also be a way for PJ to prevent the rush or "surge" to the front of the stage.  Thoughts?

  • Brilliant night! Arrived in the city with tickets for the Friday only and thanks to fellow fan club member Jay from Boston selling us his spare tickets we got to see the band on Sat. Really made up for missing out on the cancelled London show (at least got to London night 1). No problems with Ed's voice in Lisbon

Ed has tried that before. He sang Last Kiss from the lighting/mix board platform at the second United Center show in 2006. I could see him doing things like that again. But generally, I don't see those U2 type staging approaches fitting with the personality of this band.

Ah, remember Gorge 2006.  Eddie on top of the sound board shed singing Given To Fly (I think) it was!?

    Great show....great festival.

Here is my video of the guitar solo of Alive and Eddie jumping the stage mics.

Apologies for the guttural yells, but I was in some stage of euphoria and earthly bliss.

The lineup leading up to PJ was incredible! The Last Internationale, Alice In Chains, Franz Ferdinand, Jack White then PJ!

24 songs for a two hr festival slot including Rats  In My Tree plus Jack White on RITFW, not bad at all!

Some perspective, Foo Fighters just played Fenway Park a few days ago and they played 24 songs both nights, basically the same setlist at their own shows not a festival!
