Interesting assessment. Have you ever spoken in public in front of a crowd of people? An inexperienced public speaker often starts out using note cards because nerves, stage fright and random brain melt will make you forget something important. Maybe too much Trumpish has poisoned your view of how someone should gather thoughts and speak.
Actually, I speak in front of groups of people on a regular basis and have no problem communicating whatever topic I'm discussing. As I said -- she needs to LEARN her talking points. Not sure how "Trumpish" figures into this at all but I am aware of Trump Derangement Syndrome that makes certain liberals blame everything under the sun on Trump. There is a cure.
You a public speaker lol ok hey since you pay attention to Baffoon how many lies did he spew this morning
less than Obama did!!!!! so there.  America!

She took out a senior Dem leadership position.  The fractured but whole party.  All but ensures the clown to six more years as POTUS.

    SAD!

I'd be concerned if I were a democrat. Nothing against her, but Tom Perez (the chair of the DNC) said that she's the future of the party. In other words, the leaders democratic party seem to be moving more and more left. That might not bode well in general elections.
Just based on issues, the majority of Americans support her in almost all of them. Democrats are just generally terrible politicians

Doesn't gerrymandering and making it hard to vore for certain people make it an uphill battle for Dems compared to Repubs?

Funny how her Socialist views were not the same when she ran a business.  An opportunist that further moves the DNC to the radical far left.  This is good for the country, it'll energize the right.  Socialism is cancer.
I see you are still refusing to acknowledge what democratic socialism actually is, lol. I sincerely don't know if this is willful ignorance, trolling, or stupidity.

Very much does. As does a large percentage of young and/or educated leaving rural areas/states for cities, where their votes count less. This is going to make winning the Senate super difficult in 20-30 years.

Says the guy who loves Team Trump Treason’s swamp filling. Gee, have you ever criticized any of Team Trump Treason’s family or appointees? Yet a woman wins a primary and may win a general and thus be accountable to the people and it’s faux outrage from you. Too bad you don’t have the balls to run for that $174K job, huh?
Why would I take a pay cut?

Nothing to say about her philosophical change though, huh?
Because you could draft a bill that eliminates all taxes on those earning more than $174K a year and take home more than you do now.
I'd eliminate the income tax for all earners.

Ocasio-Cortez is being lambasted for making a few blunders in a recent interview.  So she should be canned, right?  No, I don't think so.  That would be like saying Pearl Jam should be kicked off stage in the early days because Eddie botched a lyric or Mike missed a chord.  She's 28, has a lot of great ideas and lots of time to develop her political chops. Besides, compared to the blunders our current POTUS has made, her goofs are minor.  The media wants you to think otherwise.  Don't buy it.

What do I like about here platform?  This:

-She's hard-core pro environment.  Great start right there.
-She's in favor of impeaching Trump.  Good to go!
-She supports LGBT Community.  Right on.
-Pro universal healthcare.  Seems very reasonable to me.
    - Wants tuition free college and trade schools.  Did I hear someone say "make America strong again"?  This is the way.
-Believes housing is a human right.  And a humane viewpoint.
    -Supports reasonable campaign reform.
    - In favor of ending the war on drugs.

In my opinion, a sound package.  Let's not give up on potential greatness.

She is why the Democrats are in no rush to put forward any major candidates and are lying back letting Trump and the GOP stew in their own mess.... Trump/GOP thrive on having political enemies to focus their followers on (still talking about Hillary?). They desperately NEED enemies to attack, because they fucking suck at actually governing. She won a primary for a congressional seat, and look at how they are already going after her, like she is running for POTUS. Unsung posting memes, etc. Democrats can continue to lay low, no need to give them imaginary enemies of the state to froth over, just let them watch the MAGA circus for a bit longer and allow them to own this mess

Nope. The entire Democratic party is being plastered as having her views which are not in line with the majority of Democrats let alone most Americans. This is why Democrats suck at political campaigns.

That may be your opinion but that facts are (assuming you don't have a problem with facts):

-In high school she won second prize at the International Science and Engineering Fair with a research project in microbiology.
-In high school, she took part in the National Hispanic Institute's Lorenzo de Zalvala (LDZ) Youth Legislative Session.
-She was the LDZ Secretary of State at Boston University.
-During college, she was an intern in the immigration office of U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy.
-She graduated fourth in her class from Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in economics and international relations.

Yes, she was a bartender in Manhattan for a while.  I guess politicians should never have real jobs, right.  Especially a job like bartending where you meet and get to know real people.  Ooooh, that's bad!

Oh, but please continue with you derogatory and disparaging smears.  They are so enlightening and humorous!

In my opinion, she is a university trained barmaid ... with a degree in ignorance and a minor in intolerance .

Generally people are dismissive of either the university educated or people with unskilled, “regular” jobs. It takes a certain flair to be dismissive of both

-She's hard-core pro environment.  Great start right there.

it's a shame so many are jealous of the college educated.  its not like having some god given skill like perfect pitch.  its just something you sign up for, do the work and come out better for it.  so fucking tired of hearing shit about it.

You know, the first time ‘round I got so caught up in the absurdity of the content I didn’t even notice you used the term “barmaid” . Maybe time to leave the Victorian era and join the rest of us in the 21st century?

Ah, that short post - the gift that keeps on giving =)
