With Prague it was simply because the show editions were sold out and the AP sale was the following day - was about the same price plus shipping. So, sometimes I go for the AP if I miss the poster at the show. I tend to only buy posters of shows I go to as a souvenir. Sometimes I like to have an AP if it was an amazing print or if the show was especially amazing...
The times for me when I really go after n AP is when there is a variant design to the show. Only if I really love the design though, I cannot afford to just have everything.... As my wife keeps reminding me!!! For example Brad Klausen did the EV London show poster and it was in different colours.. It was a London show and a great design so I was keen to try and get that...

I received a numbered and unsigned print once. The artist covered shipping back to him and signed it and returned it for me. He was in the states though so it made things easier

I like that, because then you know when the poster you want is going up on the site. I also don't like it because everyone else also knows when the posters are going up on the site.

They were drawn by my son, his name is Holden and he’s 9 today so happy birthday to him. Thanks to everyone that bought a print and I kept 7 prints over and will be randomly putting them up on my bigcartel shop over the next month.
Man I'm hoping to beat the odds and get a Rome poster. Was on my 19th anniversary and my daughters 1st Pearl Jam show. Epic night...I'll remember forever anyhow, but would be great to put this on my daughter's wall.
They probably will do it randomly on a certain date now, before the next two official bootlegs go up next Tuesday August 21st. They saw what happened when Todd Slater's Padova print went up as it crashed their 10club store.
