Its probably a ton of work to go through screen shots and emails and etc etc. sounds like everyone who contacted him properly will get one
that’s customer service right there
Yes. Good guy. Thanks for dealing with us crazed PJ fans, Brad. Drink a few beers, take your time sorting it all out. Just don’t spill any beer on the prints!! oh, and get a new pet, because some penguins just cause too much havoc
So I’m thinking it is going to be one of the following with the Lisbon Ames poster: 1. It will grow on people and will take off, become the next Kong 2. It will be donated frequently to Wishlist parties and given to kids to thumb tack on the wall. 3. banned from being used for NCAA tournament and Fantasy Football prize pools 4. somewhere between numbers 1 and 2
Been out of pocket. Weighing in on Ames' Lisbon poster:
Sounds like I'm in the minority here but I really dig it: bold colors, unique design, engaging artwork, GITD. I prefer the regular over the variant as the 'Lisbon' letters stand out more and maintain a space-like float, and white and light blue give the person better spaceman characteristics. The gold muddies the art. It's so unlike other posters that it may take some getting used to and IMO will creep onto people's radars over time. It's not going to be a Kong but can def see it gaining interest.
This ad for NY Times was in my IG feed last night and reminded me of the poster. Artistic plagiarism, no?
I got an email that my Slater print has shipped, should've been delivered to me today
