Few more listens and I am loving this song! It’s pissed. Love the vocals too. Having trouble seeing what’s not to like about this song.
To me it just sounds average. Like when you are listening to PJ radio and they play a song from one of the Seattle bands that didn’t make it big and it is clear why they didn’t make it big.
It's a good song. The first minute or so I was really excited and wondering where the song was going to go but it just kind of leveled off. Its a nice little number all in all. I really enjoyed it when it came on during a nice hike I was on today. Its weird how something can sound so different depending on mood or the environment you're in.

I think a lot of people don't know the difference between an annual/holiday single and the first single from a new record.
But can ya blame them? Is this a really a holiday single? It says it is on our downloads. But there's no B-Side. And it's not the holiday. Will there be a vinyl? Maybe they're just trying to catch up because they're behind on holiday singles. Hard to say but yeah, I don't consider this to be like something taken from an upcoming album. It's more like Olé; just something whipped up and given to the fanclub members because there's really not much else to do with it.
One thing we need to do is stop calling it a “holiday” single. This is contributing to the confusion. Ten Club stopped calling it that years ago. It’s just an annual single. And being that it’s the annual single, yes there will be a vinyl. I’m willing to be we won’t see that for another 6-8 months. When it’s ready and starts to ship out, we’ll get the b-side in our downloads. They did the same thing with the 2014 single. Remember it says this is an “early” download.

I wasn't too big on it at first, but it's totally growing on me with every listen. Same thing happened with Sirens for me--didn't dig it at first, but with time, I've grown to really appreciate the song. Wonder if this will be the same.
Super curious to see how this translates live--I hope they play it in SA so we can see some videos soon!
And always awesome to hear new music. Now I'm wanting more!

I had problems getting the file to unzip, so I gave up after multiple tries last night. I finally heard it today on PJ Radio while I was in the car, and my first impression is it's good; just not a favorite yet. I'm sure it will grow on me, though. It's definitely raw.

Nothing wrong with being critical of a song that many feel is frankly hard to listen to. Not everyone is going to like it, but many do. I think it's a far cry from the quality they used to put out. It's an annual single though, so I don't expect their best work these days to be on that and it's cool that they finally used some original material for it again. Save the good stuff for an album. I'm just happy the band still get's together and still wants to write songs even if I'd rather listen to Evacuation than this one.
If they go political on the next album i selfishly hope its a certain style.
I like political tunes if they’re vague —-only because it doesnt timestamp them. Infallible to me is perfect in its message and applies to any decade. Thats personal preference tho. As long as they’re still writing tunes im fine with whatever they want
I was so excited yesterday. Listened to it at least 20 times now. I went in the garage and listened to Gone, Fatal, Hard to Imagine. Idk what to think about it. Not in love, but its ok I guess. Just happy I will see them in a little over a week from now!!
Listened to it a lot this weekend - feels like a slower sequel to Mind Your Manners. Just for the hell of it I sped it up and it sounded better, faster tempo, more energy.
I'm happy with it. A lot of the past few albums took a little longer to really appreciate the songs. Definitely excited to hear it live.
