I agree that people get offended wayyyy too easily.
I don't have s problem with what he said. He can say whatever he wants. When George Carlin became an old curmudgeon complaining about young people everyone seemed to embrace him but now if someone does it they are vilified...

He isn't mocking the survivors, he was making fun of people listening to kids as experts. I find nothing offensive about this.

I agree.
edit: go back and read the entire quote. he was not mocking the people listening to the kids. he is directly mocking those kids.

No, he's not making fun of people listening to kids as experts, he's making fun of the kids thinking they have something to say about their experiences.
And he's sounding pretty whiny these days, too. So apparently his life is "over"? Boo hoo. I guess when you get caught being a sexual abuser, there are some consequences for your life. Good. But for the record, the people whose lives are actually "over" are the kids who were killed, not a washed up comedian who lost a bunch of money.
my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf

ok, I just read the whole quote, and you're right. that was pretty tasteless.

I am usually ok with some dark humor but now that I am a dad I see kids jokes a little different. Kind of hypocritical of me but still I find this joke to be pretty ignorant.
“How does that make you interesting? You didn’t get shot. You pushed some fat kid in the way, and now I’ve got to listen to you talking?”

Refresh my memory, did George Carlin ever mock young people who were victims of a school shooting? Loius CK is fucking IDIOT. Lets take Louis CK, stick the fucker in a build and send in an armed intruder...lets see how he responds.

Nope, cause I wasn't trying to wake it up in the first place.
The whole purpose of comedy is to push the envelope. Once you stop that everything becomes stale.
I will say this, seeing how the world reacts to things I would be more careful with what I say considering a microscope has been placed over me.
A quick glace at social media should remind you that it's comedy absolves all comedians regardless of what they say.

This is just my "black helicopter" feeling in that the government wants to know where all the guns are and to keep track of them.
Another part of my "black helicopter" feeling is if the cops are called in somewhere and they know there are guns in the house, whether they are locked up or not, there will be more situations during these calls to homes.
Just my .02 but it's something I think and wonder about.

We have strict handgun laws here in Canada. Then in the '90s, the government introduced a long gun registry which became a billion or 2 dollars boondoggle, and doubt half the long guns ever got registered. It was scrapped eventually. I doubt there is even a way to know where even 50% of the guns are.
It makes me sick to my stomach looking at those beautiful faces that were gun down and it makes totally nuts that the Baffoon has those families at the WH for a picture opportunity!!
And let’s not discuss the relative ease with which guns are accessible nor holding those “responsible” gun owners to account when their guns are easily accessible to someone who maybe shouldn’t have access to them. I really do wonder what it’s going to take.
