Kudos to 10c staff

Really appreciate all that’s gone into the new US tour planning and announcement.  Having more 10c tickets, the TM verified fan option after the 10c sale, time to make travel plans before the lottery, the digital tickets which are tougher to flip, all very positive measures in my books.  I know people have some complaints and issues, and there’s likely some  bugs to work out - but on the whole this seems great, with the interests of fans (and fanatics) in mind.  Thanks for the efforts and thoughts that have gone into this!

Well said. It's tough to argue that these changes weren't made with the best interests of fans in mind. Sure we'd all love more shows but at least we have shows to look forward to.

Gotta agree. I have some concerns about how the new ticketing policy will work but I give 10c a lot of credit for making the effort and trying something new.

Agreed. Instead of trying one or two small changes, this is a good experiment to see how they can get more 10c members to shows without the need for shopping at secondary ticket markets.

Not only that, but doing the big Seattle shows with a cause is very admirable. Good job guys!

There are people on here who would complain  if Stone came to their hotel, handed them their front row tickets, took them to dinner, and drove them to and from the show.

I agree for the most part, the changes are much appreciated.

The only thing I don't understand, is the 2 weeks to "make travel plans". What if you end up getting shut out? Or only getting one show and not both? Then you could be stuck with a room and/or flight that doesn't work so well. Just my 2c, but otherwise, the mobile tix, increased odds, all that is great.

    This weekend we rock Portland
  • I've been a part of numerous fan clubs over the years and for me personally 10c has been the gold standard. Santos, and all of the 10c staff do a fantastic job and year in and year out regardless of the curmudgeons who can never find a thing to be positive about. Kudos indeed!

Sent a couple of emails out to them over the last day since the announcement and I was met with a quick and satisfying reply which is much appreciated. Something new is not always fun or for the better for some but we will get through it and if there are any wrinkles I have faith in 10 club to fix them as soon as they can.

The only thing that I am worried about is getting into the venue. Fenway has a strict curfew and 2016 people were notorious for showing up late pushing the bands starting time back even further. This cut into the setlist especially night 1. I hope entrance runs smooth with this new system because if not there are going to be a lot of unhappy people. If it does run smooth get in your damn seats people!

Exactly.  I'm not making any travel plans until I know what shows I'm attending.

I definitely don't mind waiting two weeks before the lottery, but don't understand the "travel plans" aspect of it.

Agree, I think it is a good idea for them to try this during a small run of shows to see how it works.

  • Thankless job at times I'm sure. I can't imagine what its like to have to deal with the "crazies". Big props for always having the bands vision and the fan experience as their focus at all times.

Isn't it like a five day wait to find out if you have tixs? I don't think that makes much of a difference. Hotels can always be cancelled.
