@dimitrispearljam do you know how many weekend shows (Fri - Sun) are non festivals? Hoping some but looks like very few/none. Holiday is limited so hoping for a few arena shows on the weekends!
none
So Zurich is not on the 17th, pushing the whole spicy three off by one day (at least)?
people work of fridays in greece..weekend is sat-sun
So how many non festival shows are on fridays?
Rock Werchter 4 july - 2010, Arras 3 july - 2010, Berlin Wuhlheide - June 30, 2010, Odyssey arena Belfast - 23 june 2010, O2 arena Dublin - june 22 2010, O2 arena London - Aug 18, 2009, Manchester Evening News Arena - Aug 17, 2009, Berlin Wuhlheide - Aug 15, 2009, Copenhagen 2007-06-26 Forum, London 2007-06-18 Wembley Arena, Prague 2006-09-22 Sazka Arena, Denmark 2000-06-30 Roskilde Festival, Stockholm on August 12th Mirrorball tour with Neil Young, Oslo 1993-06-27 Isle of Calf Festival(Kalvoya), Oslo Secret Club Concert 1993-06-26 Sentrum Scene
So 21 June has to be a festival date? 22 June is show-free, Dimi said. So 20/21 June has to be a show, but not non-festival as it‘s a weekend.
Can‘t be anything else than Pinkpop, can it?
Imola is then also a festival.
Depends how that is interpreted
No arena shows on weekend is what the main man said
However, outdoor shows can be considered different ways.
Berlin Pj at waldbuhne for example, is different from a lolla show, which is different from hyde park (for.example) in many ways. i donr want to compare good or bad points from either option
2006: Leeds; 2012: Manchester 1; 2014: Leeds; 2017: London 1 (EV); 2018: Amsterdam 1, London 1, London 2; 2019: Amsterdam 1 (EV), Dublin (EV); 2022: Berlin, London 1, London 2, Budapest, Krakow, Amsterdam 1, Amsterdam 2; 2023: Chicago 1, Chicago 2; 2024: Manchester, London
Looks like Pinkpop tickets are on sale starting November 23.

No. Question was about non-festival shows on weekends. There are none.
That rules out a second German show on 21 June. There‘s nothing like a festival series like „Rock in Roma“ or „Milano Rocks“ where you could label a solo headline show as part of a festival.
Acutally I can‘t think of anything other than Pinkpop that fits the description „festival“ for 21 June.
Wouldn't be awesome if the cancelled Budapest show like in 2000 and played 2 gigs in Poland? Lodz is very close to my hometown. I know I'm a dick... I kid I kid

Soooooo.... Can we safely assume that there will be 10c tickets for all of these shows?! ( 10 club didn’t get involved this year for the Eddie Vedder show in Florence...bloody nightmare getting Pit tickets)
to non festivals,yes
Thanks Dimi... so with that in mind,do you think is Imola a festival ( no 10c tix) or a non-fest.(10c tix) Cheers

For those big venues and festival line ups you really needs to hope that 10c sell golden circle tickets. Otherwise it's a very long day hanging out at the front of the stage
Imola gig is something that we can’t call festival, i m sure there will be 10c tickets for that gigs.
I would also ask: who reserved at cabin metro in copen? And who at the Danhostel(much cheaper)? At the momet i ve 2 nighst at the hostel Danhostel
also: venue in wien?
That’s my thinking also with regards to Imola, though remember Idays in 2018. There was no pit tickets for 10c. Still. pre-reserved a hotel in Imola just in case... And Zurich is just down the road from me so finally a show which is close ( 🤞so long that it happens)

Bern doesn’t have an airport, Zurich is closest. PostFinance arena is largest arena in Switzerland that’s why I thought maybe?
Bern does have an airport, as I have flown into it a few years ago. It's 20 minutes out at Belp.
Having said that, it is a regional airport, so only a handful of commercial flights, which tend to be non-jets. I flew from Southend near London with a Bern/Belp based airline that only has 6 planes.
Never thought I'd combine my two loves - PJ and flying - into a post.

I'm sure they'll be announced after everyone in the US spends money on trips to Europe.
You spend money to go to Europe knowing an election year with (most likely) new album? Why now dont u bitching??
I'd spend money going to Europe if a U.S. tour was already announced. Love Europe!
