If they do another stadium tour, here's hoping they they play ..

    Olympic Stadium in Quebec
    Rogers Centre in Ontario
    Commonwealth Stadium in Alberta
    BC Place in British Columbia

    .. in Canada.
Don't threaten me with another trip into Alberta! On second thought, I have 1 hike to complete in Glacier NP in Montana and 1 in Waterton Lakes NP in Alberta. Go right on ahead and make me get back close to there next year. I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU!

Is the rest of the Midwest eternally screwed for shows because of Wrigley Field?

I wish they would return to smaller venues.  Sometime more intimate like a Yurt Tour would be awesome.
Garden state  art center would be nice for the both of us!
    Nothing like a 15 minute commute 😀
I could definitely agree with this.

Hope not cause I'd rather drive 3 hours to a show than do Wrigley again

I thought it was common knowledge that when our phones die, instead of charging them we throw them at someone and then buy a new phone.

I wonder if people are getting their info from places like Alternative Nation and running with it. I mean Dimi does not even know where or when the NA tour is just that it takes precedence over everything else.

They are selling out these ballpark shows in seconds. From a business standpoint it makes sense but still not the direction I want them to go. If we get this on top of a decent arena tour so be it I guess.
I know I'm boring but " from a business standpoint " PJ gets millions less than their peers when they tour per show.

It's obvious reading this topic that many fans believe an arena show is special and if they price it as a premium event, and leave stadium prices at a reasonable $125 , they can easily do both and net similar $ amounts for each.

This comes up everytime they tour regarding ticket prices and how much money they take home. Doesn't the band get a fixed amount from the promoter  regardless of ticket sales? Maybe somebody here knows the industry rather than speculation.

Kid Right CK was talking about the quandary of ticket prices recently.   There is so much sophistication from artists now.  They hold back a significant percentage of tickets and then "scalp" their own tickets - metering them out to take profits from scalpers.  And Kid rock will play 7 shows in Detroit (going on now) to better align supply and demand - keeping the lid on aftermarket prices.   PJ plays stadiums more to keep the kids on aftermarket prices than to make more.

Pearl Jam should play 10 shows at the Garden.  Would be great for fans and help with ticket prices and PJ could save $$ on transportation and set up of gear.

That’s usually correct for arena acts. If it was smaller shows it could be a split. Who knows with PJ, they seem like they might have a little more say in things. But the promoter obviously has projections based on ticket prices. If the cost goes up, I am sure they take more home at the end of the day.

I was just thinking about this. Bruce Springsteen fans would prolly kill for anything right now, stadium shows right now, whatever...anything live. Talk about fans that are hanging by a thread. I'm only thinking this is because the closest thing to a PJ show that I have ever seen was Bruce. We have so much PJ ahead of us?!?! Are you kidding me? Whatever it is, I'm in.

Oddly for me, I love bruce but love pj  WAY. way, WAY more, but I’ve enjoyed bruce stadium shows more than pj.
Weird phenomenon but the stadium pj just feels too detached, maybe it’s because Bruce has 3-4x people on stage. Maybe it’s because it was in New Jersey.
