If Pearl Jam plays fucking Lollapalooza in Stockholm... it's the most depressing thing I will have ever experienced in my whole life.
So you say we're going, right?!
Depends on the lineup. PJ alone would not make me go. Doubt they will have a lineup as strong as e.g. Rock Werchter. But who knows.

But it's obviously a good time to catch a PJ show in Sweden with friends who's not in the JAMILY OF THE FAITHFULLS.

I'm just waiting for the real dates to be announced so you can start planning...and I'll also wait for the announcement that RATM is coming to Europe, because I think they will.

seriously! Don't people know how fortunate they are to have seen them and regularly get 2+ hour shows? A 2 hour show at a festival would be a dream come true for me, everything else is just the icing on the cake!

It has to be them playing all the Lolla shows. Obviousy they are touring for big quick easy money these days and what's the best way to do that... play festivals... and playing those 3 Lolla shows will bring in some good cash. They haven't done them before.

Some beg for shows and then complain if they don't play where they want them to. I know I'll need to travel, and I know it will be expensive. This is what savings accounts are for. A Pearl Jam should show should never be depressing.

3rd Lolla in Europe is Berlin and that is September... but Stockholm and Paris would seem possible.

I’m not sure which one they would play.  Glastonbury is out and reading/Leeds are in august

only one that fits this timeline would be Isle of Wright... which would happen before Amsterdam

I guess I meant that more in terms of they like to play festivals they’ve played before // they’re familiar with it seems

they have history with both Lolla and PinkPop

British Summer Time in Hyde Park is the one people seem to think will happen. Dates are not yet confirmed.

I think the depressing thing is that they play so few shows that it’s a bit disappointing when they burn a rare show date on a festival because seeing them at a festival is only about half as good as a non-festival show.  It’s still good, but it leaves a lot on the table.

As an example, Milan 2018 festival set, 19 songs; Rome 2018 stadium show, 36 songs.

Milan was the first show back after Eddie's illness. No real comparison.

Berlin 2018 was 27 songs, the next show at Werchter festival 24 songs...

Looks like last year it was 6 nights over two weekends in July:

This year seemed similar - but could not find a picture where it was all shown in one pic.
