PJ would have announced their tour schedule before though, right?! How did that work in the past?

Rock Werchter always has weirdly great lineups. I don't get how they do it.

Tickets for Europe summer '18 went on sale 12.4.17, just for a point of reference.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

Do they sell only vegetarian/vegan food on the festival area? Otherwise Way Out West got them beat:

The festival is vegetarian and has been completely meat free and largely dairy free since 2012 and has been certified in accordance with ISO 20121 since 2013, a testament to the festival's sustainability efforts, which have seen it reduce its carbon footprint year-by-year.

Pearl Jam should take that into consideration when booking festivals @Kelly Curtis

I have setup hotel holds in 30 European cities.  These are daily holds from June 15th through July 20th.   I will just do free cancellation once the tour schedule is announced.

I'm kidding, but the thought did cross my mind.

OK, good.  It did seem odd for it to be announced so late.

British Summer Time show at Hyde Park would be a good call for a UK outdoor show. Usually mid July.
Seems more likely than Glastonbury and the second weekend dates on 11/12 July would seem to fit. Though it’s also TRNSMT (replacement for T in the Park) that weekend.

The Isle of Wight festival is too early in June. Download has already announced its headliners. Reading/Leeds are in August and too late in the year.

    Europe: June/July
USA: September/October (Ed in NYC in September - NHL and NBA start in October so MSG is available, Band wanting to play prior to election, end of October is the WS and Ed wouldn’t miss it if the Cubs got there)

The “other continents” from Dimitri probably means South America and Australia between January-March 2021. Wouldn’t be surprised if a couple Asian countries are thrown in during the 2021 run as well as a 2nd USA leg. Also remember 2021 is the 30th Anny.

The wait will be worth it!
    2003: Uniondale, MSG x2 2004: Reading | 2005: Gorge, Vancouver, Philly | 2006: East Rutherford x2, Gorge x2, Camden 1, Hartford | 2008: MSG x2, VA Beach | 2009: Philly x3 | 2010: MSG x2, Bristow | 2011: Alpine Valley x2 | 2012: MIA Philly | 2013: Wrigley, Charlottesville, Brooklyn 2 | 2014: Milan, Amsterdam 1 | 2016: MSG x2, Fenway x2, Wrigley 2 | 2018: Rome, Krakow, Berlin | 2021: Sea Hear Now | 2022: San Diego, LA x2, MSG, Camden, Nashville, St. Louis, Denver | 2023: St. Paul 1, Chicago x2, Fort Worth x2, Austin 2

My God, enough of this “Ed needs to see the MLB Playoffs and possible World Series” because of the Cubs bull crap. The Cubs will be lucky to get to the playoffs let alone the World Series in 2020. That team is “one and done” and is the “dynasty” that never was.

Without being as negative about it, I agree - odds are strongly against Cubs making next year’s WS - but the 2020 WS itself is already scheduled to begin Oct. 20 so there’s plenty of time for a 4-6 week US tour in late summer to early fall even if he wants to end it before 10/20.  In 2014 they played some Midwest shows in the first 3 weeks of October and it was epic.
PJ: 2013: London (ON); Buffalo; 2014: Cincinnati; 2016: Sunrise, Miami, Toronto 1-2, Wrigley 2; 2018: London (UK) 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Wrigley 1-2, Fenway 1-2; 2021: SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2; 2022: LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Hyde Park 1-2; Quebec, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto; MSG, Camden, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, OKC; 2023: St. Paul 1-2, Chicago 1-2; Fort Worth 2; Austin 1-2

EV Solo: 2017 Louisville and Franklin, 2018 Ohana, 2019 Innings Fest, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Dublin and Ohana; 2021 Ohana Friday (from beach) and Saturday; 2022 Earthlings Newark; 2023 Innings Fest and Benoraya 1-2.

Are there many shows scheduled after Imola?
From the current rumours Imola should be somewhere in the middle of the tour... For me the more interesting question is if they go north or southwards after Imola...?
Of I'm not mistaken with my geography is northeast of Imola the next show, indoors.
