    gotta be black,
I have seen him practically breakdown on stage sining that song. - very intense esp the line "I know someday you'll have a beutuful life". - Stunning it does not get any better than that.

That line you quoted is amazing and one of my all time favourite lyrics.

I think everyone has felt that about someone, I know I have. That feeling of having to let someone go and know that they'll move on to something better, be it a new relationship or whatever.

It brings a tear to my eye everytime.

    Just beautiful.

"I know someday you'll have a beautiful life...." I have to agree with you I have never heard a lyric in any song that has struck a cord with me like that.
Just gone through things that I have drawn real strength from the song... just amazing.

    crop duster.
Also your point about having to let somebody go... that really reminds me of a Ed quote in the sleeve notes of the lost dogs cd...
"if you love somebody let them go... if they love you dont f*ck up"...

Imortality- 'As privelaged as a whore....Victims in demand for public show. Swept out through the cracks beneath the door.

Low Light- '...can't see my tracks...your scent - way back...can i be here alone?...'

There are so many more, it depends on my moods mostly.
But i think the most intense is Tremor Christ, for the sheer power to the music and lyrics.

    'little secrets,
    tremors....
    turned to quake....'
    ...lose your mind,
    and then you'll find,
    the dreams you lost....
