My love for Why Go remains... and how amazing that last year at my first PJ gig, it was unearthed and played WITH THE DRUM SHUFFLE. It was almost as if I had sent telepathic signals to the band. Funnily enough, it was played at all five shows I went to. Why go home...

I'm glad I found this thread... I'm in the midst of listening to the entire 2000 North American tour (going chronologically... I'm currently on Oct. 8, Alpine Valley right now), and it just now dawned on me that they didn't play Why Go at all.

Has anyone every discussed why the song, which obviously was an early-years favorite and has been an absolute staple of the live set from 2006 through present, was played at just two shows (July 1, 2003 and July 11, 2003) in nearly 11 years, virtually not appearing in setlists on massive tours in 1998, 2000 and 2003, and also a semi-massive tour year in 1996?

I have to think that, with the song being so drum-fueled, it had to be that they couldn't make it click with Irons (only played at eight of 41 shows in 1995, too) and then it was just out of the set until they worked it up in rehearsals for touring in 2006.
