Can someone give me some info about tickets for Auschwitz? I booked two entry passes, which were free. But I think I've made a mistake because we need transport to and from there. So I'm guessing the transport only comes when you book the guided tour?

Hi Dogboy. Please let me know if the Tuesday night ticket becomes available for purchase. Thanks!
Could someone reply with dimitri’s post about the train from Padova to Rome? I can’t find it. Thanks!!
Not exactly what you are looking for but maybe this will help. Take a train from Padova to Venezia (short ride and there are 5-6 to choose from ever hour). Then take a train from Venezia to Roma.
Have 1 reserved seat (section 210) to sell for Amsterdam 2 (not 10C ticket). Face value of course. PM me if you are interessed

Please PM me (be patient I'm online mostly in the evening only).

Can you sell both 10c tickets or just the guest ticket? Do you need the credit card of the ten club member for entry to the arena with the ticket? I understand you need the ten club member to pick up the tickets from the box office on the day of the concert, but if the tickets were exchanged after being collected by the ten club member, would there be a problem getting into the venue? Thanks!

When we visited Kraków, we went to (I think) the main bus station and took a mini bus to Auschwitz. This was separate from any tour guide package. Get there a little early, cause things in other parts of the world don’t operate the same as we’re used to in the US, so it might feel a little like, “is this really the right bus” until you actually arrive. Also, can’t hurt to call your hotel and ask them if they have a better suggestion. If I may offer a couple suggestions:
- do some studying up (or brushing up) on what was going down in the camps and all the circumstances before you go. in my experience, while there absolutely were polish victims of the Nazis, the polish tour guides had a distinctly polish perspective of what happened. without prior knowledge, one might walk away thinking the poles were almost as equally victimized in Auschwitz as the Jews.
- expose yourself to as many of the images of these camps as they existed when they were in full operation and just after they were liberated by the red army. you may feel a 6th sense thing where you realize you’re walking on ground that witnessed great horrors, but these horrors aren’t as apparent on the surface as I expected when I visited in 2016.
- bring water and a snack and comfortable shoes.
- keep your camera in your pocket out of respect. lots of people taking pictures and selfies and it seemed really weird and thoughtless. you won’t take any pictures with your own camera that you can’t find online. pretend you’re at a cemetery where picture taking would be unseemly.
The above are just one man’s perspective and you have to make the trip your own experience. PM me if you want any more info.

It's weird that there are Amsterdam tickets on Viagogo but none on Stubhub. I know people have trouble with Viagogo but I've never had an issue with them. I'm just super tempted to go to one or both of the shows dammit!
