Anybody notice how many blowouts there have been in the NBA playoffs the last few years?
It's like once a team gets behind they just stop trying.
41 point beatdown last night.
41 points.
126-85. Warriors go up 2-1.
It's been noticing this for a while, not just this season. Home team gets the momentum and everything snowballs. I remember last years Finals being 4 blowouts and one close game. Seems like if a team can steal one road game a series they are pretty much advancing. Houston losing Game 1 was fatal in my opinion, now they are left having to win at least one game in a place where almost nobody wins, against an all time great team... good luck.

We must be brilliant because all the radio and tv shows were talking about this very thing w the blowouts.
Last nights game was the closest in scores but if you watched the game it was never even that close.
Yep, there were several times where I looked up at the score and was shocked to see the Celtics only down by 8. It felt like they were down 20 the entire game. Which, they pretty much were because those occasions where they would get within 8 only lasted for about 45 seconds before they were down by 17 again.
Bigtime performance by the Rockets, I prefer to give them credit rather than ripping the Warriors for choking in the 4th quarter. How many teams survive a Curry barrage at Oracle, fall down 12 in the 4th and win? Probably 1 in 100. CP3 was great in the 4th quarter with his leadership and playmaking. Putting the ball in his and not Harden’s hands late in the game is a huge difference for the Rockets this season. As a Warriors fan I fear that 4th quarter might have very well cost us another championship. A 7 game series is likely which the NBA needs because the Finals are going to be a joke.

Credit must go the the Rockets (hard to give - hate them), but damn the Warriors had to win that game. They need to bounce back in the next one.
If it's a Cavs v Rockets finals, I don't think I'll be able to watch it
I'll ride the wave where it takes me

The third quarter by the Warriors was unbelievable. It was an onslaught and the Rockets overcame it! In The Warriors house no less!
This game was all over the place. At the end with the foul and I thought the game was over then there were freethrows? I thought that Holy shit, GS is going to pull a rabbit and get the W!?!?!?!
Thank God that didn't happen...
Good game. Lots of horrible shots later on. I never understand pulling up for a damn 3 when you can get the easy 2. Mark Jackson talked about that and I'm glad he did because it seemed that the teams started to listen.

I knew he was up there in 3PT made but had no idea he was that good of a shot!
Beautiful ball movement.
Good defense.
Shot selection was good.

And, the Celtics STILL could not make a comeback.
I agree: it wasn't really that close of a game.
