ehbacon that’s awesome! I put both of my kids on the list when they were born. My daughter is 84,375 and my son is 94,325. So maybe when I’m 90 they can take their old man to a game! There are always tickets avail for the right price of course but I'm lucky if I go to one game a year.
I'm very intrigued by this. Does that mean there's that many ahead of them for season tickets?
These are real numbers for my kids on the waiting list. When we moved to GB they had implemented a .5% on top of our 5% tax to pay for new renovations to Lambeau. Since we technically paid for the stadium they run a lottery pretty much like PJ does for tickets. So every year we have a chance to get selected to purchase tickets to a game. But we don’t get to pick the game and it could be a preseason. If you get selected for a preseason on one year you get a regular season the next. Can you imagine if they had season tickets for PJ?

The thing about the Packers season tickets is that the wait has gone up exponentially since the Favre/Rodgers era. My dad signed up for the list 35 years ago and got them 5 years ago. Now the wait is about 120 years in theory. But I think once we inevitably suck again the wait will go back down.

It's funny that you posted this. I met #4 last week at Lambeau at 1919 he was sitting at the table right next to us for lunch. I was decked out in all my Packer gear and I stood up to leave, he called me over and shook my hand and said "Thank you for being a fan, It's fans like you that make this place great!" Pretty cool dude! Well not holding my breathe but if PJ does decide to play Lambeau you guys have a place to stay pending wife approval...watch now I say this and they decide to play it and I have a house full of PJ Fans! Nothing wrong with that...

Had the privilege of going to the Packer/Bengals game last month. Fantastic experience. Im a diehard Pats fan from 10 miles north of Boston and have to say it is such an amazing stadium. I wore a Pats t-shirt and thought id catch a bunch of shit but the fans up there are so cool and friendly. We had club seats which a friends dad had a connection to season tickets. I would love to see Pearl Jam play this venue as unlikely as it may seem. I would consider traveling back to GB if it were to actually happen

Very cool. Glad you got to have that moment with him.
Sorry about the exclamation points just got excited. Green Bay has a lot to offer I saw them in MKE that was a great show. Cool venue too. Saw them at Alpine. Awesome venue. But there is nothing around there really. There is a couple of great hotels. Heck I work in one. The Packers don’t want the opposing team to stay in Green Bay. It’s a psychological factor. They have to get on a bus drive in get inconvenienced it’s got to be a pain. I just know that Pearl Jam fans are the great fans in the world and I would like to see that kind of atmosphere here.
Sorry, see comment below...kids are on my lap hitting my phone.

Lake Geneva(I think where band stays) is close to Alpine. Hotels in LG are way better than GB. Also Alpine is between Chicago and Milwaukee(kill 2 birds with 1 Stone). That being said, I think Lambeau is not likely, but also nothing’s off limits, besides maybe the White House now a days.

PJ could hop across the Mississippi and play a nice blue state and modern venue like Target Field in Minneapolis. Just saying.
In all actuality though, I doubt the Midwest will get any love, outside of Chicago, for the rest of the band's career.
Also, I am a packer fan, mom was born in GB and had grandparents there until a few years ago. GB is a nice blue collar town. I think lambeau and PJ are two great things, but maybe they don't mix well.
For the rest of their career? The Midwest is huge, why would they only play Chicago? Makes no sense

Lambeau is awesome for football games and terrible for concerts IMO, having been there for one of each.
