sweet song, G dubbuyu sucks ass, a trained monkey would be a better presiden't cause it would do the same thing, but wouldn't fit in a flight suit, so we wouldn't have to see him being quite as big of an arrogant cowboy asshole aloof bitch
So that is how I learned the lesson that everyone is alone. And your eyes must do some raining if you are ever going to grow. But when crying don't help and you can't compose yourself. It is best to compose a poem, an honest longing or simple song of hope.
That is why I'm singing
OH MAN, 1 year ago today the fuckin sparkle jacket, dance moves and the mask made an apperance of a lifetime!! What a way to kick of the tour. In that moment this song was REBORN to me. Those 12 or so that left when Ed "impaled" the mask seriously missed out on the absolute genius of this song and it's their loss. This song transcends beyond belief live! A song that so captures what this band stands for I swear. It's just so free and humorous__
, but at the same time incredibly catchy, well written and clever. Once again....I got major Leaguer Love!!!
MONTAGE=the best
THANKS AGAIN PJ!

Keep the hope AlterEgo! I'm sure you'll get a dosage of the leaguer at some point in the future. The boys realize they shouldn't take it away. I know I was bummed that they did for awhile, even though I understood and appreciated that they didn't want to "alienate fans". But hey, they are just doing their thing ya know, expressing themselves. I've always loved that they don't change that about themselves. Fans of them know this and it shouldn't come as a surprise. Why does everything have to be so serious? All I know is when it made a comeback and kept on a coming back I was thrilled....and then to see them go the extra mile with a montage! Love it! Love this band!

I've loved this song from day ONE!!!!!!!! The clips from the tour on L@TG are awesome and hilarious!!!! Great Lyrics, all rings true in this song IMO!!!!
I was SO aching to get this song live in Dallas, Little Rock and San Antonio, but of course when I told my friends that is what I wanted to hear, they told me this:
"do you want OUR boys to get lynched?" hahahaha
But oh well, I didn't get the song at any of the shows I went to, I guess they were too afraid to play this song in TX. And I understand their concerns.
But man, having this song on the montage and having the Uniondale VCD, makes me feel a little at ease though, AT least now I have a visual to go along w/this song!! wohoohooo.
And this song speaks SO true to what is going on now in our country...you go Eddie and Stone for writing such a political and musically drivin' song. Kudos for the both of you to have the courage to do this.:)

I've gotta say I love it to. For those of you who own the MSG DVD's, don't you just adore the Bu$hleaguer compilation? I love the Silver Jacket Ed wears while wearing the mask. The smokes and booze just puts the icing on the cake. Thanx, guys, for expressing something I just really didn't know how to do myself....

Originally posted by Cjam6903 Yes, I love this song. I duno if anyone's said it already but Kerry should play this song over the speakers during a rally.
when im in my class i always ask my students who likes Bush, then i play them the live version from MTN. VIEW...ahh the warmth amd satisafaction I get when they hear this, all my lil demos and liberals love this song....as the Bush lovers cringe
"born on third, thinks he got a triple." i dont think this is a vedder original. only reason i say that is people were using that expression to criticize the FIRST george bush, way before gwbush.
I still friggen love the song... The have's have not a clue.
btw, this is my first post...I've been reading this forum for a year or so and listening for about 10. decided I may as well throw my 1 1/2 cents in now and again.
you're my crowd. thanks all.

Hey and welcome to the posting side of the forum! Thanks for the info on Bushleaguer. Kepe posting!
I haven't yet had the privilege of seeing PJ live personally. I always liked the song, but it wasn't until I saw the Madison Square Garden DVD that I began to love it. That mask is hilarious.
