I don't think anyone fully understands the algorithm Amazon uses that constantly adjusts their pricing.  I imagine it has something to do with the popularity of a good, but Amazon prices are always changing... and I'm never sure exactly how it works.

Thats why I buy it as early as I can. if it goes down them awesome, I get the discount. But if it goes up and I waited to place my preorder, I'm SOL.
You can cancel an Amazon order with 1 click if you ever change your mind too.

Good call. I was waiting to make the purchase, but there really isn't any reason to wait.

    Just purchased the trio.

I waited too long to get Binaural at the lowest price. I doubt it'll get to that price again.

Why wouldn't everyone just buy from Soundstage? They seem to have best prices? Is Soundstage not reputable?

I just bought the 3 studio albums (Binaural/Riot Act/Self Titled), the new Chicago one and the new six singles for 167.89. Free shipping.  I can't see there being a better deal?

Word. So Amazon is a few bucks cheaper overall. I'm not a nickel and dimer so not too concerned but free shipping is nice.

Never heard of them But just tried it, and Amazon is cheaper. Would have been cheaper if the 20% coupon worked, but it doesn't apply since they are sale items.
Maybe cheaper now since Amazon bumped up, but my cart is cheaper since I pre-ordered last week and it dropped below $22 each.

It depends if the person wants all or just a couple of the albums. And for the ones who want 1 or 2 and have Prime. They'll go with amazon for the free shipping instead of having to buy a minimum to get the free shipping.

Binaural back down to $21.82. I have ordered from Soundstage many times. As I said in a previous post, my last 2 preorders had not shipped WEEKS after the release date. I'm not usually in a super hurry, but ordering from Amazon and receiving on release day plus the free downloads when offered is too good to pass up.

if you're not gonna buy the reissues. I hope at least you stream the albums that week so it can help it on the charts. 150 listens of an album is equal to 1 sale.

Cheapest option out there is still music direct.  Free shipping over $50 and LP20 code works still for 20% off.

Edit- most of my vinyl crazy friends use them most frequently- one scored all three pj represses and automatic for the people R.E.M. For the cost of just the reissues on amazon.

That's the route I went.  I just pre-ordered Riot Act, Avocado and Binaural.  $64.77 total
