But brings me to a question I've always had with Amazon.
Most, if not all, of their CDs come with a free digital mp3 download.
SO why is the mp3 $9.99, but the CD (with free mp3) only $3.99?
I see that a lot with CDs, recently repurchased Badmotorfinger because I couldn't find my copy, same thing!
Are people that stupid to just buy the mp3, or is there any difference?

i think the free mp3 is of lesser quality

It's just Amazon's weird pricing model on some cd's/mp3's. I've purchased many CD's over the years from them where I never even opened the CD. I just used the free mp3 download that came with it.

I don't think anyone fully understands the algorithm Amazon uses that constantly adjusts their pricing.  I imagine it has something to do with the popularity of a good, but Amazon prices are always changing... and I'm never sure exactly how it works.

Thats why I buy it as early as I can. if it goes down them awesome, I get the discount. But if it goes up and I waited to place my preorder, I'm SOL.
You can cancel an Amazon order with 1 click if you ever change your mind too.
