    Further clarification

    https://www.newsweek.com/fact-check-did-los-angeles-cut-fire-department-funding-2011568

Their total budget is 820 million. And they aren’t the sole org putting out these fires.

I know it’s asking a lot Shecky, but add some fucking context.

Aaah, looking forward to bullshit like the above for the next 4 years. Piece of shit POTUS who makes up shit constantly and followers like above who repost memes and screen grabs as facts to paint a delusional narrative.

Do us all a favor, stick to the politics threads with this dreck @shecky. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

We do agree on one thing - President Biden IS a POS. By the way, I live and pay high taxes in California and I have family in L.A.

The difference is, I don't care if you call Biden a POS, he's not my guy. He's a president who has made good and bad decisions.

I have no trust in anything you share being true, but ok, what's your point about your ties to CA? Climate change is making hurricanes, wildfires (when not stated by morons) and natural disasters more common. Instead of investing in changing our impact on the environment, the next Admin is going to lower corporate taxes, ease environmental regulations and rape land and see dry for resources. How's that going to play out do you think? Your reference to that stupid Trump statement tells me you don't get out into nature much or understand the ecosystem. Maybe move to Greenland and see if you can stake your homestead claim in the new frontier once the Trump army seizes it for America.

How in the actual fuck would forest management help a fire that started in a residential area?

Well duh, it wouldn't spread. It would just stop. Maybe even build walls around the forests too. That's a solution no one is talking about.

I gotta say, I sure am gonna miss some things about the drooling Veg in charge…He really needs to be out of to pasture…

Being in the path of a wildfire was one of the scariest experiences in my life out West a few years ago in Glacier National Park, I sure hope they can contain this sucker…the big blow they are experiencing too really is problematic..

I guess you've never been to Pacific Palisades. It's next to the Santa Monica Mountains, and is a very rustic area.

I agree. We as a country should be more like Finland.
