This week, Brad L is at camp with 75 fifth graders, Sideshow Brad and Kate take it way back to 1992 for the Drop in the Park show. Many thanks to Randy Sobel for this week's sea shanty listener intro, to Derek Starkey for Pearl Jam Story Time, and a HUGE hug and thanks to Kate Cotton for killing it and saving our asses this week! Enjoy, nerds!
What's up, nerds?! This week, with BradL’s triumphant return, we take a deep dive in to one of the classics of the Pearl Jam catalogue, Corduroy. A big SPT thank you to Paul Allen for Pearl Jam Story Time!
This week the Bradlingtons have a conversation about all of the band’s drummers and their contributions. Huge thank you to Regina Rivera for both the listener intro and Pearl Jam Story Time! Enjoy, Nerds!
This week we say Happy Birthday by digging way back to the band's first show at the Off Ramp Cafe in October 22nd, 1990. Huge thanks to Randy Sobel for this week's Pearl Jam Story Time!
Pearl Jam are just as well known for how great their music videos are as they are known for not making music videos. This week, the Brads have a conversation about the videos that came out of the "Ten" era. Huge thanks to Luc Drolet for this week's Pearl Jam Story Time!
Well, I guess you fellas are going to have to redo all of the other album episodes as you really raised the bar on this one (Yield).
As always, I really dug how Brad L - and Matt(hew) - got into the "musicianship" of all of the tracks. It so cool learning about how songs are created. With this said, I am not a musician so I consider myself more of a Brab B kind of fan and really appreciated the live insights he provided - especially just when I thought certain items were going to be overlooked! For instance, how older versions of Wishlist ended with that "I wish I was a radio song..." lyric; how MFC made even better when Untitled is played beforehand; the extend "seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" at the end of Low Light. I love the studio versions of the songs but enjoy the live versions even more.
Haven’t posted in awhile but our newest episode is available now. This week we talk about SOME of our favorite Pearl Jam riffs. More to come in a future Part 2. Huge thanks to Greg Jorgensen for this week's Pearl Jam Story Time! The last few weeks, we’ve covered Hail, Hail, the Yield album, Jeremy, and the Live at the Garden dvd. You can find us on most of the normal podcast places...Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, Spotify, YouTube, etc. Thanks!

Just listened to the Given To Fly episode - love that tune.
I appreciated the three-version medley you put together comparing the "speeds" of the song in 1998 and 2016. I knew they'd played it faster nowadays but didn't realize it was that much faster. It's sounds like they are on speed or something! They really should slow it down a bit. What's the rush?!

Considering how many PTA meetings need to be attended in the twenty teens, it's very understandable why it's played so much faster now.
Hey BradB, random thought on an analogy to Andrew Wood. Would you say his style on stage was similar to Freddie Mercury?
Definitely. He was a good mix of Axl Rose and Freddy. It really makes a difference when you see videos of them performing vs. just listening to the album.

Hi Guys, just feeling the withdrawals. Woke up this morning and no new episode. Hope you both are having great times on the week off and am looking forward to next week's podcast!
I wish I was a sacrifice, but somehow still lived on.
Definitely an enjoyable listen on the commute PJ fans. Do not hestitate. Listen!
Please thank Mr. L for the McCreary GTF acoustic demo. I never heard it before and cold opening that show with it was stunning.
Also thanks for mentioning the "Can't Deny Me from forthcoming album" was a misstep by the band. On Porch its sometimes like that was never said by the band. At the very least PJ could clear the air. Sorry fans, we misspoke. And I agree CDM does not belong on their next release, if any.
Hey, has anyone heard from the guys? They haven't put out a show in a while, I wanted to make sure the Brads were doing ok.
Hey zmoney! We’re doing good. Took a break for a little while. Had some life stuff getting in the way of recording but we’re trying to get back into it. Hopefully have something soon. Thanks for reaching out.

Glad you are doing ok. We miss Lyons and the Blaze. We'll be here when you are ready and able.
