    By the way I said the Republican Party was dead in 2017. I was right. This ain’t the Republican Party. Sad to see it go, even sadder to see how it went. Maybe the Democratic Party will split and I can join the moderate side ;)

    Depends on what you meant by dead.  The Party of Trump is still Coke to the Dems’ RC Cola.  Its dominance should remain, no small thanks to the inept Dems.

    But that old Eisenhower party?  Yeah, that’s done for the foreseeable future.  I don’t really know where the 12 percent of those who are unhappy with the Party of Trump go.

    It then started a rapid decline the moment Mitt lost to Obama and the party doubled down on the extreme right and other things in an effort to get power. 

    Then the nomination of trump ended the GOP. It’ll be interesting what happens with the party over the next 20 years...

    To me the joke wasn't whether you could see Russia,  rather that it was a qualification for office.  And Tina was just brilliant in that skit. She defined Palin and possibly changed the course of the election.  It was a viscous takedown
