I was ok with some of the tax breaks for corporations, but overall I did not like the tax plan and was very concerned that they couldn;t get this right. This shoulda been a slam dunk but they bricked it off the rim. Marco Rubio is a good politician. I actually generally agree with him on many issues but unless he is willing to do more standing up when it matters and less afterwards (taxes....guns...) I don't feel like he will bring the needed change to the Republican party. I'm unclear on Kasichs motivations fully....but he has been trying. I wish Marco would have joined him during the primaries and stayed the course afterwards. But all these politicians want is power....they want a seat and to keep a seat.hippiemom = goodness0 -

Yup, the party protecting Rule of Law is a horseshit notion. The GOP is now simply the party of Trump. It is almost completely unrecognizable in its current form from what it used to stand for. Fiscal responsibility and law & order have flown out the window. And it isn't just Trump leading that charge. Mike Pence just endorsed Joe Arpaio (who Trump pardoned) in his senate bid.josevolution said:Well isn’t the GOP the Party of protecting the Rule of Law , you would never know it by the way some Republicans are acting they are realizing that the bafoon is totally compromised..Pence in Arizona hails Arpaio as ‘champion’ of ‘rule of law’

Ghouliani exhibiting that he has no soul and no moral compass. Ghouliani angling for Sessions’ job. Team Trump Treason paid some Stormy Daniels woman $130,000. Who cares? No big deal! No campaign finance law violation! What a fucking Administration. Ghouliani should lose his law license.
Has anyone asked Paul Ryan his thoughts? How about those students at Liberty University? Jerry Falwell’s kid? Mitch McConnell? Every democrat candidate should ask their repube opponent in a debate this fall their thoughts on the appropriateness of the payment and subsequent lies.
What else is Team Trump Treason hiding? What are they afraid of? What other skeletons are in that deep, dark closet? Love child? PTape? Another 17 victims? Falsified medical records?

I disagree. I think Sasse and Blake are fairly principled, by and large. Just because they don't oppose every move Trump makes, doesn't mean they are falling in line. As an example, they were both critical of the Iran deal from the start. Just because Trump nixes it does not mean they are Trump supporters.Halifax2TheMax said:
