Yes. I forget who, but the wife was involved right? I seem to remember her luring him to some diner where someone from the cartel killed him? My memory is fuzzy on that.

Finished part one of this season.   I wasn’t too excited for this season after the finale of they prior one.  But this season was great.  Pissed that they broke it into two parts but such is the way it is.   Characters I was annoyed by before got less annoying this season although Wendy is still the worst.  There is a scene where it is just Wendy and Snell talking late at night and you can’t tell which of them is crazier.  Great scene.

I watched Ep1 last night...I was a little surprised at the pushback from Ruth and Wyatt when Marty was telling them that the cartel would kill them if they didn't back off of the heroin crop. Out of all the people on this show those two know the death that the cartel can bring down. That reaction kind of made me think the show jumped the shark but I was really drunk so maybe I was just touchy.

  • I guess I am 5 years late.
But this past evening my wife and I watched season 1 episode 1.
I told my wife after watching that episode that there is a chance that Ozark becomes the 3rd series, in my lifetime, that I actually watch every single episode.

The 1st 2 being The Brady Bunch and Breaking Bad.

    Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

It's nice that all of the episodes will likely be out around the time you are wrapping it up.  It's a great series

Im the same way.  I think I have Oz, Breaking Bad, and Lost.  Im sure I have probably seen every Gilligan's Island Episode too.

Ozark is a really good show.  It isn't quite as neatly wound as Breaking Bad, but does the trick.

I would add Better Call Saul to your list.  Its a perfect prequel to Breaking Bad.

Finished episode 7 last night.  Wow!  Can't wait to see how this ends....release date for 2nd half of the season is just "later this year" so guessing we don't get this until end of the year.

likely filming now.    no episode titles.
have noticed on better call saul imdb will list in the can episodes with name and unfilmed or in production with  season/episode number designatons.

Pretty sure I read that they filmed the entire season at the same time but they're just breaking it up into 2 for Emmy awards considerations like Sopranos and Breaking Bad both did for their final seasons.
