    Jicama Tacos

    Jicama, very thinly sliced
    Blackened ahi
    Guacamole
    Pico
    Cilantro

Ate 10 of them.  So good...and still have some fixings for lunch.

We ate at this place in Phoenix that served these about 15 years ago and were blown away.  Been making them, at home,  since.  You can slice the jicama very thin...and double up on them, taco style.  I prefer to have them a tad thicker, thin enough so they can still wrap around the contents as you eat...but thick enough that you get a great crunch.

Easy to do, should try it out.  You won't be sorry.

Yeah it looks awesome and I probably will. One of my goals this year is to do at least 26 new/unique recipes, so this will be on the list.

Some fun stuff coming later today

Lamb kofte kebabs over a rice pilaf with baba ganoush and naan (store bought). Yogurt harissa sauce that kind messed up the picture but holy f’ing hell it was good

Black beans and rice, topped with corn and guacamole (or something like it anyway), piled onto tortilla chips.

    I wolfed it down.

    Recipe from this book:

Damn, that's gonna be a good meal. I should have gone seafood tonight. Tried some steaks from Holy Grail, delicious.

What did you stuff the fish with?
