What a great night and what a brave guy to try to let the music do the healing and to be entertaining at the same time.
I cannot put down in words how much respect and love I have for this man.
Goosebumps right from the start of Walking the cow and I already lost it when Thumbing my way began.
Tears kept rolling throughout the show especially when Ed told about his father in law and obviously about Chris in the encore.
I don't know yet how to get through tonight's show but I'm glad I'm part of this process.

    yeesh! that sounds terrible
“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”

Great show, great setlist, perfect variety of electric, acoustic and ukelele instrumentation too.

Amazing to see one man (for most of the show anyway) on stage captivate an audience of that size.

    Enjoyed that!

This show was heartbreaking and life affirming at the same time. At one stage Ed said something like "I can't even think about it because if I do ... I'll just .... dust." Huge respect for the way Ed is dealing with this all. And I am sure it helps to have Glen there too - they are clearly great friends.

Love to know from those that were there how Parting Ways was. I would love to see him pair up with the quartet on this one.
