My god. What a show, and what a setlist. Ed made quite a lot of mistakes throughout the show. You could see he was still a bit flustered. But the mood was good. Great audience also.

so many Bucket list songs for me tonight.

on to the Next one. Night 3 coming up
No matter how cold the winter, there's a springtime ahead...

First show of the tour for me. Even though it was less intimate than the 2012 shows due to the larger venue and a lot of people running on and off during the show, it still didn't feel like a 6.000 people show but more like a night with uncle Ed and friends around the campfire. Great setlist with some emotional moments from Ed before MOTH and in the first encore.
Brain Damage was played because a friend of Glen attended the show Saturday and told to Ed that the people in the white labcoats reminded her of people coming to take away the crazy people. Song of Good Hope was preceded by a story about Ed knowing the feeling of being alone and lost at times, especially when he was young, but that there's always people out there to support you as well as music to get you back up.
Heroes and Comfortably numb were both just the first verse and refrain.
    On to tomorrow!

Btw: the string quartet will be joining on the rest of the tour as well

    Come back into sleepless nights.

if that doesn't tell you anything what this man is going thru then nothing will.

not a big fan of the eV solo but nice set list.

What a truly amazing  show !!! Just had one of the best nights ever in my life!!! I got to hear all my favorite songs from my absolute favorite singer in the world and I'm just so grateful I could be apart of this. I also loved to hear what Eddie had to say about both serious issues and also not so serious issues :) really had me laughing quite a few times. Also the crowd was really great and in to it, I loved it when the crowd sang along. Thank you everyone involved for making this tour a reality.

Enjoying reading the song updates guys. Hey what was the deal about the security and etiquette policies for Ed? It said no mobile devices in the announcement-I fully expect and understand additional searches but not being able to bring in cellphones might be tricky. Sea or Kat-any chance this could be clarified? Cheers.

They really take the "Non Filming and Photography Policy" serious. They pulled out a guy just behind me maybe one third down the show as he was fleshlighting the whole scene during a song. Indeed not very clever made but they were there like a minute later to pull him out.

What a great night and what a brave guy to try to let the music do the healing and to be entertaining at the same time.
I cannot put down in words how much respect and love I have for this man.
Goosebumps right from the start of Walking the cow and I already lost it when Thumbing my way began.
Tears kept rolling throughout the show especially when Ed told about his father in law and obviously about Chris in the encore.
I don't know yet how to get through tonight's show but I'm glad I'm part of this process.

Great show, great setlist, perfect variety of electric, acoustic and ukelele instrumentation too.

Amazing to see one man (for most of the show anyway) on stage captivate an audience of that size.

    Enjoyed that!

This show was heartbreaking and life affirming at the same time. At one stage Ed said something like "I can't even think about it because if I do ... I'll just .... dust." Huge respect for the way Ed is dealing with this all. And I am sure it helps to have Glen there too - they are clearly great friends.

Love to know from those that were there how Parting Ways was. I would love to see him pair up with the quartet on this one.
