Losers shouldn't have statues erected and be glorified. They're losers. They lost.
I think that's pretty binary thinking. What if you 'lose' but had noble pursuits? You wouldn't honour those 'losers'?
Have any examples?
Pearl Jam Vs. Ticketmaster.
1995 Milwaukee 1998 Alpine, Alpine 2003 Albany, Boston, Boston, Boston 2004 Boston, Boston 2006 Hartford, St. Paul (Petty), St. Paul (Petty) 2011 Alpine, Alpine 2013 Wrigley 2014 St. Paul 2016 Fenway, Fenway, Wrigley, Wrigley 2018 Missoula, Wrigley, Wrigley 2021 Asbury Park 2022 St Louis 2023 Austin, Austin

Tear down the Wall in DC for the Vietnam War then. See how that goes for you.
Vietnam was a US led war that was fought on behalf of the US, whether you agreed with it or not. Jefferson Davis was a loser who tried to cleeve the nation in two. False comparison.
The equivalency might be if there were a statue erected of General Westmoreland or McNamara. Or Johnson or Nixon. Feel free to write your representatives advocating for such.
Of course it has. You don't have the right not to be offended. Many people can't hear anything that they don't agree with and not go into the fetal position. It's probably our ability to use the internet to go into echo chambers; dissent and dialogue are rarely seen anymore and when they come about, we don't know how to handle it.
And the right has made a killing on it. "PC" has become nearly synonymous with "liberals" (and the 400 synonyms used to dismiss rather than discuss). Liberals need a safe space. They are intolerant. Etc. But it's not the left that melts down because Colin Kaepernick does not practice patriotism the way the rest of us do. The right hates how easily offended people are, until they are as easily offended, then it somehow doesn't count. The only difference between the Kaepernick issue and all these other things that cause the right to rant about the SJWs is that now they are offended. And somehow the hypocrisy is barely acknowledged. All credit to them; they've totally co-opted it to their own advantage.
Right...but it's all about the level of outrage. To immediately call for her to be fired from anything and be shunned for life...that's the fake outrage that drives me nuts.
Seriously, there is more outrage in America right now directed towards Kathy Griffin for an offensive photo than there is for real beheadings of homosexuals and women who were raped in the middle east.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

Or for Chrisitians killing Muslims in Africa.
Or for Muslims killing Christians in Africa, for that matter. Nobody really cares what happens over there in general as far as I can tell. But a stupid photo with a prop in it sends people into a tizzy. It's ridiculous. And what's going on with that Russia investigation thing? Who knows? Who cares? Everyone is too busy being upset with Kathy fucking Griffin. Trump should be giving her a medal, not condemning her, lol.

Then it isn't anything to be ashamed of or told to feel guilt because of it either.
Literally no one is saying you should be ashamed or feel guilty. Those are concepts you (and your ilk) created when you couldn't confront the idea that society has endowed you with benefits that others don't have, because it's easier to mock ideas that make you uncomfortable than to address them seriously.

Personally I can be proud of the person I am, but I don't tie it to my gender or race....cause that's fucked up.

No, that should not be taken seriously, at all.
Again, it's easier to mock ideas than to debate them with intelligence and respect.
