I just returned from a break. And I'm not posting as much as reading right now. It was a short break, I take months long vacations (in the atmosphere). I get what you're saying.

Thank you for using wary! It drives me crazy when people say weary instead of wary (wrong thread maybe).

If we all spoke in emoticons here we would have to take more time to think about what we are saying.

She’s right.  Lack of real immigration reform is one major factor that has lead to populism.  Too bad she didn’t lead on this when she actually had positions of power. Too many wait until they have no power to state their true beliefs. Which is one reason people hate politicians.
    I don't disagree.

"Democratic candidates for the House will receive almost as many votes this year as the 63 million that President Trump received in 2016"

    Word.

Edit, forgot the most important part,

    "
There isn’t really any precedent for the opposition party at the midterm coming so close to the president’s vote total. "

    Word Jam.

Even if you agree with some of Trump's policies you should at least understand that his rhetoric and character is so disrespectful. I don't like a lot of his policies, but if he were to have a better attitude and not be so rude to people he dislikes we would be better off

So true, iamkylehi.  Someone who has ideas we disagree with but who at least makes an attempt to be civil, intelligent, and willing to listen instead of belligerent, ill informed and closed minded  is going to make a better leader.  Those better qualities are pretty much absent with our current president.

And good to have a new voice here on A Moving Train.  Hope to hear from you again.

Great leaders don't blame others when things do not go as planned, they accept responsibility.  Trump has no clue how to accept responsibility...

hey, i've been a construction site foreman (sort of) before.  you have to have some common sense to do the job.  I would like to ask Trump if he ever came home caked in fiberglass insulation or 20 year old dust?

His approval rating would likely be at least 5% higher if had any kind of morals what so ever.

He closed the freaking border between San Diego and Tijuana. He is trying to start a freaking war. He is such a dangerous imbecile.

That is a huge crossing for legal immigration and it is now closed.

They have helicopters and threw flash bangs and smoke grenades from the US side.

    This is extremely disturbing.

Just the distraction his base needs.

Can we have the UN intervene yet?  They should have stepped in after the last election.
