Trump in a statement explaining his reasoning cited “a series of
unfounded and outrageous allegations – wild outbursts on the internet
and television – about this Administration.”
“Mr. Brennan’s lying
and recent conduct, characterized by increasingly frenzied commentary,
is wholly inconsistent with access to the Nation’s most closely held
secrets and facilitates the very aim of our adversaries, which is to sow
division and chaos,” he added. The statement, released Wednesday, was
dated July 26.
I just don't see how he can remain president if he used the N-word (I'm sure has, but you do need proof) ... how would he get anything done??
He would have to resign. He will also have to resign if Mueller's report lists him as an unindicted co-conspirator
I don't think the GOP will be able to save him if either of the above occur
He would have to resign? Why? I don't think for a second that that would happen just because he got busted using the N-word. Look at what he already gets away with! NOTHING would make him resign, and NOTHING would make his supporters want him to. I mean literally nothing. I think he could be caught on tape torturing an innocent person for fun, and he would just lie about why he did it and his supporters would stand behind whatever lies he offered them.
I think the backlash would be too strong. There would be absolutely no one who could defend him. Sanders wouldn't be able to defend it and it would be the topic of every discussion until he resigned.
If it comes out he is gone.
Backlash would never make him resign, no matter how strong it was, and there would absolutely be people who would defend him IMO. You have too much faith in some of these scumbags I think! I also think you have too much faith in everyone else, actually. Trump using the N-word would not be the topic of every discussion, any more than him being a sexual predator has been. I still find it disturbing that some think this though. That him using the N-word is somehow the worst thing he ever would have done, and that that, of all things, would be the one unforgivable thing that they couldn't manage to lie and manipulate their ways out of in terms of public and political perception/reception. I don't think that's true, but just that some believe that makes me sad. Unless they can and would impeach a POTUS for saying the N-word, which they wouldn't, Trump would not be gone because of this, because he'd never resign for anything, besides maybe finding out he's dying soon or something.

I looked it up, and apparently the Globe was bought by the NYT for $1.1 billion in 1993, and was then sold for $70 million in 2013. And then somehow Trump's bizarre alternative fact about the sale for $1 has some kind of relation to the Globe "colluding" with other papers to disparage Trump's unconstitutional and dangerous ongoing attack on the free press. Those bastards! I thought Trump was okay with collusion anyhow? If this is his definition of collusion, then all he does all day long is tweet and collude, collude and tweet, lol. And he still finds the time to drink 24 cans of diet coke. What an amazing person.

I agree. Nothing short of something illegal will make him resign.

He will NEVER resign He's a textbook narcissist Everything bad is someone else's fault Everything good is his doing
The cost of Team Trump Treason’s military parade could fund the Team Mueller investigation for four years. What was that about fiscal responsibility, costs and priorities again?

Just more public obstruction of justice. I wish the founding fathers had foreseen the situation we are in. Our constitution needs some amendments to protect us from a rogue president and complicit congress.

And I've seen the theory that the people that he is targeting are actually possible witnesses in the Russia investigation. More obstruction, constant obstruction. We need more decent people to make it clear that this can't happen in USA or the experiment that is America is over.
