Taking a HAMMER to SHIT for the sake of watching it break isn't policy.  It's treason.

I had to read this like 5 times before I understood.  For awhile I wondered...why would a hammer have to shit?

It's monday, give me a break.

It really just goes to show the balance of hatred is on both sides. That's why I laugh at the fact that either side thinks they can have a clear cut win on election days. It's going to be another close call. Get out and vote. May the most sensible persons win.

Here's to hoping the side with sensibility, compassion, fairness and empathy prevails over the side that doesn't share these attributes!

I'm confused. Are you saying this wasn't a previous tweet from Trump or that the message in the tweet is fake?
It's fake news reported by Trump. The real news was Obama was eating out of Iran's hand and fawning all over them. Hence the billion reference.

Can you give two key statements or actions by Obama that made you feel that way? I haven’t seen it myself and would like to know.

Here's a couple. That second one, any other President and our Military would have been blowing shit up. Literally. He allowed them to humiliate our Military soldiers.

True, you do have to dig very, very deep to find empathy and fairness and compassion in the republicans.

    1) There's actually a lot of videos on YouTube and most of them seem pretty genuine.

    2) They're not all necessarily former dems who now support Trump. I'm a prime example. I left the democratic party a year ago (well before this Walk Away hashtag) out of hatred for liberalism, but I certainly didn't embrace Trump or any of his lunacy.

Haha. I wasn't defending Trump, I was pointing to his fake news tweet, since he's always commenting "fake news". Why can't you admit that Obama made plenty of negative decisions? People aren't going to change their views until their ready to change them. Peoplle are  going to believe what they wanna believe. The far left won't change their minds and the far right won't change their minds either.  Doesn't matter what Trump has done or said, it won't change their minds either way.

Why are you assuming I haven't admitted that Obama made some negative decisions?? That is quite the unfounded assumption. I actually used to speak against Obama regularly when it came to the NSA.

Not sure why you'd say that other than to be a troll. But here are some of the videos I'm referencing....so they're not all memes with stock photos. And I totally got a voter registration and switched from democrat to independent so that's not fake either.

Really. I was going to say.... Ledbetterman10, how can you have such a "hatred" of liberalism unless you are letting extremes and serious biases colour your perspective? I'd love to hear your definition of liberalism so that you think that... I would suggest that you find a new word to describe what it is you hate, because using "liberalism" comes off as pretty strange.

Didn't say it was a bad word. Nor do I think all aspects of liberalism are bad. I'm for equal rights and civil liberties, ya know, the good stuff the liberals preach. But I'm against PC Culture. I'm against open borders. I'm against Black Lives Matter (the actual movement, not the concept it's based on). And I'm certainly against any sort of push for socialism.

Then you might want to find a better way to express your sentiments, because "hatred for liberalism" definitely is giving the wrong impression.

That's fair. Let me rephrase. I do hate the extremes (both on the left and the right) and I hate the actual two parties themselves. I just can't be apart of being on one side or the other anymore because I never really was. I registered as a democrat when I was 18 because my father is one. But my views can go either way depending on the topic. For example, I'm very pro-choice (liberal) and very pro-gun (conservative). And it's hard to be in one party or the other when you're like that.

If it was the Republican party that I left, I probably would have said I left because I hate conservatism, as I said I left the Dems because I hate liberalism. But neither are completely true.

Definitely not. Sounds like you simply don't like particular perspectives when it comes to particular topics. Maybe you should just leave it at that instead of claiming a hatred for liberalism, since you actually don't even seem to have one. FWIW, you are NEVER going to find a party and probably not any politician running for office who will perfectly match what you want. We all have to take the bad with the good when it comes to voting or party ties. If you want to just say you support independent candidates or something, great... But don't block yourself off to all major party candidates just because they're with that party. I'd say that generalizing never really works when you're responsibly choosing who to vote for.

Not literal open borders but Dems don't seem to be hard enough on illegal immigrants. They always want to give them a path to citizenship so that they'll eventually vote democratic.

And PC stands for political correctness.

I don’t know about always, and aside of your cynicism, I see dems push for wrapping up things for people who qualify under the dreamers act.

I know pc stands for political correctness, I’m asking what exactly ‘pc culture’ is.

Speaking of fake news. Have you guys seen those WalkAway ads? Using stock photos of people claiming to be former dems who now support Trump
    1) There's actually a lot of videos on YouTube and most of them seem pretty genuine.

    2) They're not all necessarily former dems who now support Trump. I'm a prime example. I left the democratic party a year ago (well before this Walk Away hashtag) out of hatred for liberalism, but I certainly didn't embrace Trump or any of his lunacy.
liberalism is not a bad word. Unless you don't want civil, equal, and worker's rights.

Oh no I'm not doing that. I'm not looking for a party to join, but I don't intend to support independent party candidates either because that's just a waste of my vote. I just don't want to be affiliated with either party. But I'll vote for the dem or repub if I like them.

I don’t get the open borders thing. Who in any position of power is calling for open borders? And what’s PC culture?

Not literal open borders but Dems don't seem to be hard enough on illegal immigrants. They always want to give them a path to citizenship so that they'll eventually vote democratic.

And PC stands for political correctness.
Let's say you HAVE to choose between not being hard enough on illegal immigrants (who are a major contributor to the American economy - that is undeniable), and a campaign of hate and extremism against illegal immigrants, which is what we're seeing with the GOP now. Which one do you choose? I would think that would be an easy choice for any non-racist, frankly.

As for PC culture... I think it's insanity to attribute that to liberalism. I think this "PC Culture" thing railed against by conservatives is an exercise in irrationality.
