Everything Donald and Melania Trump Have Said About Their Marriage Through the Years - People https://apple.news/A4i1CfLyqQhCTXkLj4ONVpQ
She can’t stand him it’s so obvious she knows he’s been banging other women all along , she will just keep on swallowing...

As she should. The marriage is and always has been a sham. Let's not pretend that this was a whirlwind romance between two young 'real happening' people. This was an arrangement struck between a slimy, old, orange man with saggy boobs and a beautiful young woman attracted to the old man's wealth.

Trump's affairs mean nothing to me. Everybody knew what type of guy he was before the US elected him as their president.
So just like the hypocritical evangelicals you are giving him a mulligan?
    No.

I just wanted to speak to the reality of Donald's 'marriage' and the reality of his character. He was elected 'as is'- a slimy old rich man with no moral compass... knowing full well that's what he was. The US got what it asked for.

And the 'hypocritical evangelicals' will always twist or ignore things to try and maintain their dignity. This is part of the SOP for that bunch of fools.

Speaking of putting cashiers out of jobs...

Yesterday, after Amazon Go's debut, Jeff Bezos gained $2.8 billion.  Amazon Go is tehcnology that pretty much makes cashiers obsolete.  You log into the app, go into the store, pick up your items and leave.

So, one guy in one day made more than probably all cashiers in the US combined in a whole year.. for introducing software that takes their jobs away.

This is what class warfare looks like.
Class warfare? This is what progress looks like, and people are naive if they think we have a moral obligation to disallow progress. Automation, machine learning, and AI are here to stay and getting stronger, and people would be well-served to acknowledge this reality and pivot to industries which support it, rather than denying this reality and complaining. For the record, this includes all people, not just pure production jobs.
I agree. This is why we are going to have guaranteed income in the coming decades. There will be far more people than jobs. Conservatives heads will exploded at the idea of people making money for doing nothing, but that will be the future.

Technology and progress, yes.  But it's still class warfare.  Nobody gets any fucking money if one guy gets it all.

Yes, the system is broken when one guy can earn that much money but I wouldn't call this particular situation class warfare. Bezos hasn't taken those jobs away. I don't see the conflict yet, but will it lead to class war in the future? Probably. Other companies like Walmart are sure to follow this model, then shit will hit the fan if we aren't prepared for it.

    Question,
Would Trump haters have been any happier or less angry if Ted Cruz was the president?

As a Cruz hater, I would have had my share of issues with him. But they would have been a different set of issues. I'd be focused more on policy issues. With Trump, who has no specific policy issues or a clear agenda, the focus instead is on chaos, idiotic speeches and proclamations, Russians, golfing, his hair, the color of his skin, his BMI, and the incompetence of the swamp he created. So I'd probably be happier if Cruz was president so we could at least have interesting policy discussions, and because we'd likely still have our former international standing. But I wouldn't laugh quite so much.

I'd be less mortified.  It would have been like having W as president.  A nitwit with bad stances on policy issues, but at least not embarrassing us on a nearly hourly basis.

Nope. That "marriage" is toast. She hasn't attended a public event with him since the Stormy story broke. They already didn't share bedrooms. Now they're not even sharing residences much.  Has any president been through a divorce while occupying the White House? If it doesn't happen during his 4 year term, it will happen in the 1st year of his post-presidency. She didn't sign up for this, was clearly not happy on inauguration day, and is probably counting the days until she can go back to being a NYC socialite and leave the public spotlight. Money is a strong motivator, so she's doing her best.
