Lol. It's not really that it surprises me he thinks it or anything. What stuns me over and over again is that he doesn't filter it for appearance's sake, or that someone isn't monitoring every Tweet and stopping all the idiotic ones from getting sent. Surely Trump is aware by now that many of his tweets are damaging to him.... but he  just doesn't care. That's the weird part.
He paid off a porn star for Chrissakes... there is literally nothing damaging to him at this point.  It's a sad commentary on the lives of the sycophants.
Which leads again to the question. ......

    What' worse?
The lying narcissist who'll say anything he wants no matter how hateful, ignorant, racist, etc.?
Or the person who supports him and his behavior?

And when his party wins the house and Senate in a few months? Just watch him fire Rosie and  Bobby, uh oh.

Dems need to learn the lessons of the last four congressional elections. So far this year, they are not impressive.
What do you mean "so far this year"?  They swept Virginia (in Nov, but that was huge) including closing a 13 delegate deficiency in the state.  They beat Roy Moore and won the PA congressional.  What reference point are you using to say it's been unimpressive?

Team Trump Treason is now accusing the FBI of meddling in the midterms while continuing to deny Russian interference and collusion in the 2016 presidential election. And some on here deny the existence of a PTape? Delusional.

What are you using to gauge not impressive? They’ve flipped seats at the state level already. Dems probably won’t flip the Senate but they have a decent chancenwith the House. Mueller will probably be done late July/early August, and we’ll see what the fallout is from there.

More ruination at the greedy hands of these men and one major clown:

Billionaire Kochs boast about control over the Trump administration

The billionaire Koch Brothers are some of the worst polluters in U.S. history. Now they're celebrating how they got the Trump administration to let them run wild.

Billionaire conservatives Charles and David Koch were caught taking a victory lap to celebrate their own success in getting the Trump administration to deliver on their wildest dreams.

The Kochs have profited handsomely from businesses that are massive polluters. Their companies produce more climate pollution than even major oil companies like Chevron and Shell.

Previously their company was forced to pay $30 million in what was the largest civil fine for environmental pollution in U.S. history.

But thanks to Trump handing the Koch’s wide network free reign in the American government, the right-wing brothers will be able to pollute and profit at an increased rate.

And they aren’t being shy about it.

The Koch’s political operation recently disseminated a report in which the group “takes credit for more than a dozen new policies” put in place by the Trump administration, according to McClatchy reporting.

There are at least 44 Trump administration officials with close ties to the Kochs and their affiliated groups. Notable figures like Kellyanne Conway and White House Counsel Don McGahn worked for the Koch network.

Others, like Mike Pence and OMB Director Mick Mulvaney have benefitted from donations from Koch groups.

During the Obama administration, many of the tea party groups were funded and organized by the Kochs. These groups were a nationwide network that helped to elect many Republicans currently in Congress.

The Koch’s recent “accomplishments” include gutting the Obama administration’s Clean Power Plan, which cut greenhouse emissions from power plants; the efforts to revoke monument designations in favor of companies who want to drill; efforts to sabotage insurance coverage; and the tax cuts targeted at the super-wealthy (the Kochs are worth at least $96 billion).

Stephen Spaulding, chief of strategy at the government watchdog Common Cause, told McClatchy, “It’s clear they are doing whatever they can to take advantage of the political dynamics to ram their agenda through.”

The Trump-led EPA is currently working to change the rules governing polluters in the oil and gas industry. If they get their way, those massive polluters will be given the ability to self-audit their emissions, rather than have them checked by an independent body.

It would be yet another green light for even more pollution, and just the sort of things the Kochs want.

Democratic senators are currently pushing to uncover just how much Trump has allowed the tentacles of the Koch network to burrow inside the government.

In a letter the senators note, “Americans have a right to know if special interests are unduly influencing public policy decisions that have profound implications for public health, the environment, and the economy.”

The Trump administration has utter disdain for common sense environmental regulation and policy, and the Koch Brothers network loves it. They’re working to undermine safe air and water in exchange for their personal profit.

With such a close affiliation, it is practically impossible to see any serious differences between the Koch team and Trump. They are effectively one entity, working towards a common pollution-filled vision of the world.

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

It's the people who support his behaviour, without a doubt. There is only one Trump... but there are millions and millions who enable him, and they are the reason he's in office. But that doesn't make Trump any less heinous obviously, and Trump knows how to play all these morons like a fiddle.

The concern is far too many view this as acceptable and normal, or even something to openly cheer. It's a minority, but so was his vote total in 2016

Yeah, I guess. Depressing as fuck... It is hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that there are actually that many people on whom it works. I hope I never do wrap my head around it - that would mean I kind of accept it, and that would be a bad thing. I am much, much more comfortable with thinking of them as the fucking stupid assholes that they are. Trump and Trump supporters will never ever normalize for me.

I have no idea where to put this story, so I'm putting it here.... "Roseanne" cancelled (after just being renewed for a 2nd season) because Roseanne Barr went nuts on Twitter.... I guess her co-stars aren't exactly thrilled, lol.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/reliable-source/wp/2018/05/29/roseanne-went-on-a-vitriolic-and-racially-charged-twitter-rampage-now-shes-apologizing/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.71ce55d67aba&wpisrc=al_news__alert-entertain--alert-national&wpmk=1

I'm not disappointed by the show being cancelled (I did like the original (until the last season), but new one sucks. The two grown daughters can't act anymore at all - it's weird.
All this really reminds me of, though, is that Trump gets a pass for everything - he has Tweeted and said WAY worse things regularly for years. But his followers can't even be half as vitriolic as him, and they lose their jobs. It's infuriating.

Yeah, bad mistake for those trying to send a message about Trump ... Of course, this kind of thing is still happening under Trump, and worse things too. But these messages against such practices have to acknowledge that it's always bad and that Trump isn't stopping it. I feel like Trump thinks that if you weren't vocally against something under Obama, you can't be against it under Trump... That isn't the case obviously. Trump now probably won't even have to address the atrocities that are happening under his watch because he ride this flub indefinitely and his supporters will too. And all the photos show are kids being detained in the existing infrastructure that is still is use, but because of how the photos were used , it's actually going to bolster ongoing abuses.

It was only a matter of time before Roseanne got cancelled. She epitomizes the crazy, racist, far right social media army of Donald Trump. Sooner or later she was going to say or tweet something that got her into trouble.

I'm sure the right did not forgive her for that until she became a white nationalist (or, rather, came out of the closet as one).

Wasn't she the poster child of the debased left for the right when she sang the national anthum and then spit? Right? Wasn't she the symbol of all that was wrong with America and had Faux News in a tizzy about how disgusting she was? Or am I confusing the issues? I think she just supports Trump and has fallen sharply to the right because she's gone kind of nuts. She's always been a supporter of LGBTQ rights (she even included this topic in the new season of her show, confronting it directly - I think her grandkid on the show was gay or trans or something like that, and the message around that was total acceptance), and she took several other so-called liberal positions about various things over the years. And she's never come off as racist until recently either.

except it's a gutless move by CBS because they knew the show was appealing to the crazy, racist far right.   one stupid ass tweet and now all of a sudden they are offended?  does no one have backbone enough to defend their position anymore?  I don't watch the show and hate everything she stands for but putting a moron on tv and then expecting them not to act like a moron at some point is pretty idiotic to begin with.  i mean hell did they even wait 24 hours to decide to cancel the show?  if i was an agent id tell all of my clients to stay off social media 100% of the time. nothing good comes of it today.

Wasn't she the poster child of the debased left for the right when she sang the national anthum and then spit? Right? Wasn't she the symbol of all that was wrong with America and had Faux News in a tizzy about how disgusting she was? Or am I confusing the issues? That and her show at the time was ridiculed for its social views?
    Isn't that funny? Lol

It was only a matter of time before Roseanne got cancelled. She epitomizes the crazy, racist, far right social media army of Donald Trump. Sooner or later she was going to say or tweet something that got her into trouble.

    maga!

except it's a gutless move by CBS because they knew the show was appealing to the crazy, racist far right.   one stupid ass tweet and now all of a sudden they are offended?  does no one have backbone enough to defend their position anymore?  I don't watch the show and hate everything she stands for but putting a moron on tv and then expecting them not to act like a moron at some point is pretty idiotic to begin with.  i mean hell did they even wait 24 hours to decide to cancel the show?  if i was an agent id tell all of my clients to stay off social media 100% of the time. nothing good comes of it today.

ABC....but, yeah. All it took was one look at her twitter page and you can see her peddling all sorts of crazy ass conspiracy theories. Pizzagate was one of them. She's fucking nuts.

The network thought it could walk the tightrope of being edgy and controversial and reap the benefits of ratings, and for a few months it did, but yes, they should have known that providing Barr with a larger platform was just the proverbial “enough rope to hang herself”.

Expectations move quickly now. They couldn’t wait 24 hours; the longer they wait, the more the blame rubs off on them.

I don't see how the show was at all appealing to the crazy, racist far right. At all. Her son has a black daughter, her grandkid is "super gay", her sister is a hard left winger, one of her daughters is also very left, and her other daughter tried to be a surrogate ... How does any of that appeal to the crazy, racist far right? Maybe you should watch it if you want to comment on the content?

Trump called and congratulated her on her ratings. that is enough for me to know who it was appealing too.
