Donald Trump

the problem is, and what gives credence to the whole "fake news" BS, is that it's not clear what he actually said. the congresswoman paraphrased Trump, didn't give a direct quote:The Juggler said:rgambs said:The Congresswoman has doubled down, claims the first words of the widow at completion of the call were, "he didn't even remember his name".
I believe the widow, herself, confirmed this also.“Basically he said, ‘Well I guess he knew what he signed up for, but I guess it still hurts’,” said Ms Wilson.
“I heard what he said because the phone was on speaker.”
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -
Is he going to say next that Sgt. Johnson's mother is fabricating the story about the conversation too?Trump Told a Soldier’s Widow Her Husband ‘Knew What He Signed Up For,’ His Mother SaysBy YAMICHE ALCINDOR, MARK LANDLER and EILEEN SULLIVANOCT. 18, 2017https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/18/us/olitics/trump-widow-johnson-call.html

If he DOES do that... you'd think that would be enough to turn more supporters off but sadly, it wouldn't. This POS that dodged the draft and pretends to love the country makes me so SICK.Kat said:Is he going to say next that Sgt. I'll say it again, it is WORSE than I could have imagined.
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream

ive got a friend thats a hard core Christian. He admits that Trump is no Christian and essentially morally bankrupt. But he also admits that he doesn't care. Trump speaks for the Christian right in a way no President in modern history has. Thats most important.stuckinline said:
Agreed, but sadly as long as he 'alleges' that he is pro NRA and pro life, his base will support him.JimmyV said:He is the worst mistake this country ever made and that mistake gets worse every single day.0 -
And what are your friend's feelings about his or her own immorality in his or her very non-Christian support of Trump? Is this person also willing to admit that supporting him is terrible rejection of their own supposed faith?vaggar99 said:

we don't live in the same city anymore and our exchanges are now over Facebook. Usually starts with him posting some anti-evolution/pro-creation nonsense and then me calling his bullshit publicly. The argument for supporting always goes back to the lesser of two evils bullshit. Hillary is married to Bill and Bill is as bad as Trump on a moral level. And of course, on a policy level all Democrats plan on raising taxes, taking away the guns and taking Jesus out of everything. So there you have it.PJ_Soul said:

I suppose he's a moral person, but you can not rationalize with an irrational person which you have to buy into religion.0 -

Sorry.....but I hate your friend.www.myspace.com0 -
Sounds infuriating, lol. I have this one friend on facebook who irrationally (and I mean IRRATIONALLY) supports Trump too, but he's even worse because he's not American or Christian or white, he's not a homophobe or pro-life... He is fiscally conservative, and that's it. I would hope that that wouldn't be enough to create a Trump fan. I want to think he's just trolling like crazy, because if he's not I have to question his mental health. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure he is not trolling. Our common friend told me that he's almost gotten into fist fights in bars because of this shit. It's out of hand. I still see him in one particular social circle that I also belong to, so I feel like I can't unfriend him, lol.... The worst part is that I like him a lot otherwise. I don't know wtf is going on with him, but people are a little concerned about him.vaggar99 said:

infuriating and humorous all at the same time i suppose. it's funny, we bonded at work over love of guitar. He's quite a bit better than me and would always tease me about being lefty based on my love of PJ. I always thought he just trolling me mostly out of the naive belief that musicians could never be right wingers. This was almost 20 years ago, before Facebook. Its only fairly recently since seeing his FB activity that I realized he was not trolling at all.PJ_Soul said:

One common thread with almost all Trumpsters: They will find ways to insult you for being different. Its the strangest thing. Don't get me wrong, 90% of the time they are the most charming people in the room. But then there's that 10% thats a total, "what the fuck is wrong with you?"
I can go on and on about my Trumpster buddies. you get the idea.Post edited by vaggar99 on0 -
Freedom of speech is great unless you offend donny boy. I totally agree. The last insincere voice you would want to hear. Say. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
