you think one appearance on Fallon could have changed the outcome of the election? you can't be serious.

your last statement about Cosby is a joke, right?

Ha....no. I think what he did do didn't help matters. Had he actually tried to be an adult and treat that interview seriously, it could have helped in a positive way though.

No. She totally thinks Cosby is innocent. 100%!

don't get me wrong.....I was VERY annoyed that Fallon did the interview in that fashion. But not for a second do I think it would have had that much of an impact had he taken it seriously.

Imagine the scenario I presented though---if actually studied up and completely grilled him, exposing him even further in front of a couple million people watching live and then millions of others in viral videos in the subsequent days and weeks.

Particularly as Fallon's demographic skews moderate right, being hold overs from Leno's demographic. It certainly may had had an effect just as Russian directed social media targeting had an effect in three states.

It's Fallon, though. He's not exactly political. They should have made jokes about him being racist or some skit around white supremacists admiring him. Maybe something from the p***y grabbing quote. There seems like there's a lot of material there.

they may have had an agreement where Fallon wasn't allowed to grill him for him to appear on the show.

I think they plan most interviews put ahead of time, as far as what topics they're going to cover. I think Letterman pointing out that trump's shit is manufactured overseas was a surprise, though. Dave doesn't give a shit when it comes to assholes. Fallon seems pretty concerned with upsetting people.

that's why a lot of people steered clear of Letterman. they KNEW he didn't kowtow to anyone.

Who cares? Grill him anyway. Guy's done about 3 interviews with non fox news outlet shows since. Not like he would be back anytime soon.

He went through three debates and looked like a doofus.  That didn't stop him.  Why would Fallon, Kimmel or Letterman have any more luck with 10% of the audience as a debate in prime time?

I can't see a talk show host signing that. A legally binding one? Doubt that would be drawn up for The Tonight Show. Even so....so what? You get threatened with a lawsuit by a guy who's threatened thousands with lawsuits over the years. Grow a set of balls Fallon!

normally, I'd agree. But I could see Trump and his team pulling that type of bullshit.
