What time does this guy get up in the morning? Trump's "agenda" today. Round of golf at Andrews? Making Mickey Mouse pancakes? Cartoons and Fruit Loops in footy pajamas? Too tired from 3:00 a.m. tweets?

"The Commerce Department on Monday announced a preliminary decision to hit more than $5 billion worth of softwood lumber imports from Canada with tariffs of up to 24 percent. The announcement comes on the heels of Trump continuing to hammer Canadian policies that have effectively blocked certain U.S. dairy exports north of the border."

Ugh. Canada buys lots of stuff from us. Surely this could've been handled better.
And not only will housing prices increase for new homes but figure all those tax payer funded road and bridge projects just went over budget as well. Thanks Donny.

All of this brilliant winning has me in stunned brilliance! Is it too early to allow Trump to serve for life? We shouldn't want to end all of this winning, right?
Trade minister courts China for softwood as US announces duties on Canadian lumber 'China's curiosity about Canada right now is a lot bigger than softwood lumber,' says expert
Trump's anti-Canadian trade tirades could soften the ambivalence many Canadians feel about deepening economic co-operation with China, he said.
"Trump has accentuated the necessity for Canada to look for other kinds of markets, not because the United States isn't important, but because the United States is now seen as unpredictable and unstable."
BS, how do you feel about all this? I take you as a free trade kind of guy.
Though to be fair, "but her emails" hasn't been discussed by the right in any seriousness in AGES. It's almost exclusively used these days by the left, when mocking the right. This is absolutely a waste of time and energy, and furthers the rift between the two when such things said 'in jest' are said so frequently.

You need to stop coming on here with your posts that make sense and put everyone in their place and start worrying about what happened in Benghazi.

When the right begins to acknowledge they've made a major error in judgement... I'd assume these types of comments will go away and talks between the divided parties might begin to take a more constructive tone; however, until the right can agree to admit to the fact they've propped up a f**king idiot to run the country they share with the left... I think these comments are fair.
Despite the mountain of evidence which grows daily proving without a doubt that Trump is fraudulent as a president... Trumpsters still get on here and flaunt their choice. The realization they need to experience is not happening fast enough for them for one of two reasons: they so badly want to enjoy the success of a Republican Party victory they are blind to the gross shortcomings of the orange man... or they are too stupid to understand how the orange man is unraveling their country.

To summarize, the reality you're hoping for is one where Trump supporters stop supporting Trump. The barriers you're identifying are a lack of intelligence from Trump supporters, and a blind allegiance to the Republican Party.
I am struggling to see a chain of causality where these subtle but sarcastically delivered jabs produce anything positive (in fact, I'd say it's clear they are counter-productive). How do they assist in overcoming these barriers to your vision of progress? Annoying/sarcastic/arrogant/smug behaviour is "How To Ensure Someone Doesn't Give You The Time of Day 101", regardless of whether it's been done by an opponent before; and in fact, if you loathe that behaviour in an opponent, why would you want to be a participant in it? Just because I am justifiable in saying or doing something, doesn't mean I should.
Maybe it's my inner hippie, but I just can't understand the incessant need to come out on top/have the last word/fight for fighting's sake, when the absolute best case scenario is that nothing comes of it at all.

You and your damn inner hippie.
I'm not thinking the majority of Trump supporters will ever stop supporting Trump. In fact, even when it is all said and done... they'll never even come to understand the long term effects and consequences of his actions when they begin to manifest themselves- they'll naively point to the administration of the time and blame them (much like many did with Obama- conveniently forgetting Bush's disastrous terms and the messes he made).
It's in my character to persist. I wish I could look at some posts... think to myself, "Wow. That's really stupid" and ignore it... but I can't.
Is it better to leave something ignorant to stand and left unchallenged... or is it better to address it?
I know what you're going to respond with: address it... but with a degree of tact. This requires greater effort and given what I wrote in this same post earlier... some aren't worth such efforts in my mind- they wouldn't appreciate the time and it wouldn't make a difference. I'm just not a big enough person to persist with the higher road- I'm old and have lost patience for doing so.

Who said that was in jest? The right wasted countless hours and dollars investigating emails & Benghazi only to come up with nothing. The entire purpose was to slander Clinton, which the voters on the right were too blind to acknowledge.
This rift you speak of is not of the left's design. The right brought this upon themselves and I will remind them at every opportunity how they were played for a bunch of rubes. Anyone who voted for Trump because emails is a useful idiot and should be treated as such.
"Benghazi." It's not that there was one Benghazi investigation. It's that there were four of them. All for the expedient political purpose of dragging Hillary through the mud as the 2016 election approached. I have yet to hear the democrat equivalent of Mitch McConnell state that the Dems number one priority is to see this president fail. Sorry, but I will mock the other side for their stupidity and ruination of a great nation. All so they could have the last word or be on top or rub it in the dems' face. Some people can't stand it when Libs rightly call out and mock the other side for their folly.
But, but, but Benghazi! 0 scandals that resulted in any real significance by the previous administration by the way.
