In addition, The Senate Intelligence Cmte identified Konstantin Kilimnik, who worked for Paul Manafort for years, as a Russian intelligence agent, and said that Manafort, Trump’s campaign manager, secretly provided him with sensitive information. 

    So Trump's campaign manager and personal lawyer have extended relationships with Kremlin agents, and in Manafort's case, even spied for Kilimnik. In fact, Carter Page was not even a member of the Trump campaign when he was investigate by the FBI. 

    Here's a news flash: (U) The Committee found that the Russian government engaged in an aggressive, multi-faceted effort to influence, or attempt to influence, the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

    Also "Taken as a whole, Manafort's high-level access and willingness to share information with individuals closely affiliated with the Russian intelligence services, particularly Kilimnik and associates of Oleg Deripaska, represented a grave counterintelligence threat."

    The Committee found that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the Russian effort to hack computer networks and accounts affiliated with the Democratic Party and leak information... the Trump Campaign sought to maximize the impact of those leaks to aid Trump's electoral prospects.     I do agree with that.  There is always a concern as to how much a person can separate their religious views from their duty.

    Those are fundamental Catholic beliefs, but most I know don’t strictly abide by them.  Should Sonia Sotomayor (devout Catholic) have been disqualified based on the church’s views too?  I have my own beef with Catholicism, but this will make 6 Catholics on the Supreme Court, right?  If you can set your beliefs aside and make decisions based off constitutional law...I don’t see the issue.

    right. personally my greater concern is lack of judicial record. all we really have are academic papers. which may be views she holds or just arguments for a given paper....
