What's the penalty in NY for falsifying business records?
Vance is investigating whether the Trump Organization falsified business records to conceal hush payments to two women, including pornographic film actress Stormy Daniels, who alleged they had affairs with Trump years ago. Trump has denied those claims.
Meanwhile, over in the House:Separately, three House committees have sought bypass the president to obtain his financial records from his longtime accounting firm, Mazars USA, and financial institutions. The committees, all controlled by Democrats, say they are needed to check Trump’s financial disclosures and inform whether conflict-of-interest laws are tough enough.
Lawmakers’ line of investigation is more expansive than the district attorney’s. They have demanded information “about seven business entities, as well as the personal accounts of President Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump,” according to the brief filed by the president’s private lawyers.
Follow the money, from Russia with love and a PTAPE all the way to prison. Traitor. House dems better pursue this after the election and hold him accountable and beat every repub who colluded, enabled, defended and sought to make it no big deal, over the head with it. Repeatedly. Particularly after what they've put Hillary through. The congressional subpoenas followed testimony from Trump’s former fixer, attorney Michael Cohen, who told lawmakers that Trump had exaggerated his wealth to seek loans. Two committees subpoenaed Capital One and Deutsche Bank as part of their investigation into Russian money laundering and potential foreign influence involving Trump.

The stupidity that is Team Trump Treason continues unabated. Can we really withstand another seven and a half months of this, if we’re lucky? “For the 1/100 time.......”

If he loses in a landslide, elected republican officials done with him. Losing that large will also cost them the senate as well. Trump is literally destroying this party.
Gaetz, Ivanka, Jr? hahahahaha.
Yes they can disavow him. It depends, really, on how close the election is....I'm just talking about today. If it were held today he would get absolutely fucking destroyed. Why on earth would they not disavow a guy who they had to spend four years making excuses for and who cost them the senate majority and is also under a CRIMINAL investigation that could result in jail time?
I actually think the Tucker Carlson rumors have some validity to them though.www.myspace.com0 -

How their existing official would behave (remember, Moscow Mitch stopped the Garland appointment before we even knew who the nominee would be). If Biden wins and Mitch is re-elected and the Senate retains its GOP majority, Biden would probably never have a SCOTUS nominee appointed. It would be fascinating to see what type of person they'd run in 2024. They're pretty much out of reasonable people. Would they go all in with a Matt Gaetz? Back to Ivanka or Junior? Or is there some Romney type that would come up? Can the GOP totally disavow Trump? They've been so all-in on him, I think they may have to stay the course on currying white nationalism and law and order. If we're going to have a one-party system, it's going to be the GOP, not the Dems. I say that primarily because the GOP still has its eyes on that.

Because he'd still be likely to be inaugurated. He's setting that up with his whining about mail-in voting. Barr would really earn his money if he could get his client a second term after appearing to lose on November 3. It's possible, at least in a close election. So, if Biden is inaugurated, then it would get interesting in terms of what the GOP would do.
