Howard Stern says he and President Trump are both showmen who love a good time — and they both hate Trump supporters.

“One thing Donald loves is celebrities, he loves the famous,” Stern said on his SiriusXM show Tuesday. “He loves it. He loves to be in the mix.”

According to Stern, Trump went anywhere famous people would be and is suffering now that Hollywood has turned its back on him. He likened the president’s predicament to an episode of “The Twilight Zone.”

He's Saruman from LOTR-- stuck with the urukhai because the world he wants to be a part of has turned the back on him because he is rotten. And if you can't get power through being adored by the elves, you take what you can.

I heard that live on Stern's show.  He has Donald pretty much nailed and has had him nailed for a long time.  And he doesn't hate Donald Trump, he hates that he is president currently and failing.

I’ve said the same thing from the beginning as well. He could give less than a crap for his MAGA supporters. He’d loved to be loved by celebrities, which is understandable because he used to be loved by celebrities, as well as Democratic politicians ....until he ran for president as a Republican. He does the “crooked Hillary” stuff because it works with his base and all he wants is votes. But deep down, I bet he wishes he and the Clintons were still friends. They’re more similar than different, and they were friends for many years. But Donald is shameless and willing to do anything to win, so he burnt that bridge to the ground (parading Bill’s alleged sexual assault victims, calls to lock Hillary up) and hasn’t looked back.

I think if we are all honest the way some of the questions are asked are not the greatest. Including this most recent controversial one. It’s played off by many that she just asked “why does it matter that the US tests are the best in the world”?...a terrific question. But she added more to it that is certainly an attack.

That said, trump brought this on himself. And his reactions/“handling” of the questions is appalling.  I think the press is just tired of being attacked and mocked and ignored. 

to your first statement I'd say "really? not the greatest?" almost all of them air on the side of softball because everyone of them is afraid of losing their position at these press conferences.

the asian reporter asking that has a justifiable beef. trump says stupid racist shit all the time (honestly i think the emphasis should be on "stupid"). however, in this instance, i think he would have said "ask china" to jim acosta as well. he's been blaming china to everyone since the US went into the toilet with this virus. remember, he praised them previously when the US had only a handful of cases. so was he racist then? or he's just racist now? 

it's only taken these reporters 3 fucking years to grow a spine, but they have to learn to challenge him when it's suitable to be challenged.

Totally agree with Stern.  Recently I have been surprised at the political crap on tik tok.  I downloaded that app for amusement but holy shit it didn't take long for the trumpsters to dominate my feed.  Most are young, some are black, that create post after post about how great tRump is.  Reminds me of this cartoon

One of the more interesting questions/comments that I heard yesterday listening to the SCOTUS arguments was Kagan making a comment or directing a question, and I can't really remember her wording, but it was directed at Sukelow and she basically asked if the presence of additional filed sealed subpoenas influenced his thinking of whether they should be considered with the issue before the court, or something like that. If I can find a transcript of the arguments, I'll see if I can find it because I was taken by it and I think there was a moment of silence, her words hung in the air, heavy they were.

Me thinks that there may be a whole lot of subpoenas waiting to drop once Team Trump Treason and his ilk leave office. A whole lot.

I think he loses all those cases. 

I'm not a lawyer, but he had TWO events on his calendar yesterday, a 12 noon intel briefing (HILARIOUS), and a 4pm meeting with R senators, yet he spent ALL day rage tweeting while the CV19 rolled on, but couldn't spend 2 hours with Jay working on his case because it would DISTRACT him from his job?
