WHO blows, but not too long ago Dear Leader was praising the WHO and President Xi.

Desperately trying to pass the buck in lieu of his own failings and incompetence.

The Republican/Socialists and the Dems are back in town.  Time to get some more $$ we don't have into the hands of small business owners.  Slowly.

I don't know....I have a few clients that we are currently finalizing their 2019 returns and they are getting the message even though the 2018 return qualifies the.

I have also had two cases where widows (husbands passed in 2018) filed their returns in late Feb/Early March and they received $2,400 stimulus payments.  So they definitely weren't basing the payment off of the 2019 return for some reason.

Who knows then?  At this rate most of us won’t get any assistance until the pandemic is over.   I’m glad my wife has a job that allows her to work from home and that we have a good savings cushion.

The coronavirus relief bill passed by Congress allows most Americans to receive a one-time payment of $1,200. But while the money cannot be seized for public debts, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has allowed banks and other private creditors to confiscate your stimulus check.

That means that if you are in arrears on your account, from being overdrawn or having outstanding unpaid fees, the bank can take your money before you ever see it. Even if the money lands in a closed account, and even if you just got laid off & are struggling to pay your bills in this economy.

This was not what Congress intended when they passed the relief act, and all it would take is action by the Treasury Department to block private creditors from seizing your $1,200.

Sign the petition to the Treasury Department: These $1,200 checks belong to us. Stop banks and other private creditors from seizing our stimulus money.

We can stop this. A few weeks ago, disabled people who live on SSI (Supplemental Security Income) were going to have to jump through hoops to receive a stimulus check. But after an outcry—including a Daily Kos petition signed by 74,000 people—the Treasury Department has partially relented

People are struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic, which is why Congress passed a relief act to give most individuals a $1,200 check. That money belongs to you, not the private lenders.

Our message to the U.S. Treasury Department:
People are struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic, which is why Congress passed a relief act to give most individuals a $1,200 check. That money belongs to us, not the private lenders. Do not allow banks or other private lenders from stealing our money.

A close friend of mine lost his job mid last year.  He would not have qualified using 18 numbers, but he rushed and filed using the 19 numbers which was well below the 75k threshold.  He got his money last week.  Seems like a there are bunch of different stories out there.  Perhaps it's random, who knows.

Funny how these people who have prepared for doomsday so they can survive in their homes/bunkers are the 1st to show up at these protests , and they are the 1st to claim that they can do what ever they want with their bodies but are the 1st to show up at anti abortion rallies! They can’t even last a month holed up..
