Yeah, i won't argue with that. I do think the joke has just become much more obvious and blatant at this point. We don't even pretend to have an independent DOJ - they work strictly for Trump at this point. Same with the GOP in the Senate. There is no longer a check on the executive branch. And seeing world leaders standing around laughing about Trump this year was icing on the cake, after his previous performance where the entire audience laughed at him ("they were laughing with me") when he was exaggerating his accomplishments.
