    Yeah, that's exactly what he meant. I heard he clarified after lunch. Mueller apparently saw that the media was flipping out over his answer, which is why he clarified.

    i agree with this. people just keep hoping that everything is the smoking gun. all he said was a president can be charged after leaving office, not that THIS president WILL be charged after leaving office.

    I'm not sure I understand your point. I explained why what appeared a simple yes/no answer (could the President be indicted after exiting office) was not the simple yes/no question people wanted answer (will the President be indicted after exiting office).
