Pelosi going hard after Barr today.
I'd like to see him cuffed and escorted to jail for contempt of Congress since he has nothing but contempt for the rule of law and he shouldn't be in his position. Roy Cohn was disbarred for unethical conduct so that would be just fine for Barr too.

O'Donnell has had Trump's number from the beginning. Trump sued him for saying he wasn't a millionaire. Trump lost. Such a petty little man in the White House. Amazing how many once respectable people have sold their souls for a man who would throw them under the bus in a minute.

Obstructo-BARR should be served a subpoena, and if he chooses to ignore it, he should be arrested.  Put him up in the Willard Hotel.  Let him sit there and think about it under armed guard

You cannot just defy the United States House of Representatives.  They run shit.  People in the United States follow laws, even Attorneys General.

I remember when candidate soul-eater sent a check to Lawrence's philanthropic organization he promotes about desks for kids and Lawrence returned the check. He wouldn't be bought. Also, I've decided that Comey is right and soul-eating is exactly what the petty little man does. I'll never understand how people are taken in by him...soul-eating is the only possible explanation.  /// :)

The  KIND fund - it's a great organization. I also saw that episode. He had to return it as it broke the rules of MSNBC, receiving or donating to people running for office.  There was also something wrong with the way that Trump had issued the check, most likely on purpose. There isn't any kindness in Trump's actions, there is always an angle.

He had been given a subpoena to appear today. So he is in Contempt of Congress. Nadler said they would give a day or two for the subpoena Barr has also ignored for the unredacted Mueller Report being turned over to Congress and then pursue Contempt charges.

There have sent subpoenas for many documents in a  myriad of scandals and all have been ignored. Most notably the Treasury Department ignoring the subpoena for the President's taxes. This is a written law that the Congress are given the right to ask for anyone's taxes and the IRS has to supply them, but this was ignored also.

Where to start with heads of departments and lack of cooperation with document requests? It is disgusting.

The Democrats have been put in a position where a lot of the enforcement that they need would have to go through the DOJ so their other choice would be the judicial and they'd have to figure out a perfect legal argument to force the WH to adhere to the rule of law.

Trump is begging for them to start impeach proceedings. He could use his victim and presidential harassment lines on twitter and to his loving rally crowds (how the hell did anyone allow these to become a thing that a President could do?). It is a big con. Plus Dems don't have the balls that the Repubs do.

If they were to start impeachment proceedings though, they would be able to get all of the documentation that they need and be able to get whomever they want to testify because it is taken out of the DOJ's hands when it is an impeachment hearing. So though it would play into Trump's hands every freaking day, the effect of the testimony they would be able to get might lead to a change in public perception about impeaching Trump.

This is what happened with Nixon. The public was with him until they started to hear people testifying in the impeachment hearings. When public support shifted, the Republicans then shifted and told Nixon he had to resign. Not sure how that would work in Dear Leaders case, but there needs to be a time when they stop allowing the administration to steal their lunch and just do their Constitutional duty. If they don't, we're going to start to see Congressional investigations into HIllary Clinton and Obama and ......

And things like arresting Barr are not as easy as they sound. He has security assigned to him and it would be a stand off between Capitol Police and his Security Detail. There are no easy answers when an administration just decides to blow up the Constitution so impeach and hope for the best. It's better than looking like wimps. And getting called out as wimps by Repubs.

The Democrats are now in direct talks with Mueller about testifying. They have both gone over the head of the DOJ and gone to direct talks.

It's infuriating because Trump and his people are so obviously saying screw you to the Constitution. And the Dems are trying to remedy this within the rule of law when Trump is not following any of these laws.

I know that we say impeach, arrest - but imagine how flummoxed the Democrats are knowing that this is wrong but also knowing that they will be opposed at every turn and the WH will use every delay tactic to make this run to 2020 and time is up.

The WH lawyer, Emmet Flood, has written a letter to Barr today saying that the President has instructed everyone to disobey subpoenas. He also wrote a letter criticizing  Mueller and his report saying that he had no right to lay out a  roadmap to impeachment for Congress in his report.

Mueller testifying before Congress without any care of the DOJ's opinion is laid out in the Special Counsel rules as an emergency procedure. He would be able to give testimony as to the crimes that the President committed and hopefully the idea that a President cannot be indicted will be banished forever.

For those who have asked - this is a Constitutional Crisis. When the rules set out in the Constitution are not followed and there is no remedy laid out to fix it. The President has declared in action and in words essentially that he is above the law. And his administration is saying that they do not have to follow the laws.  The enforcement tactics in the Constitution are being ignored.  Impeachment & Contempt of Congress are in the Constitution but they did not foresee a portion of Congress who would just allow the WH to ignore the Constitution. He has broken his oath of office.

Baffoon is daring the Democrats to do something about this, this administration is basically telling the Democrats “ you and what army “ they haven’t complied with one single request from the House Democrats zero none they are running this country as if they make the laws and fuck the constitution..

And what if no one was around to report on Team Trump Treason surpassing 10,000 lies or misleading statements since taking the oath of office?
