I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for him. So conflicted to be honest.
bigger man than me.
I am not conflicted
Yep me neither, he was spewing racist garbage in MN on Wednesday about the state becoming a refugee camp! I’m surprised Nazi Miller didn’t put out a video of Muslim’s dancing in the streets to celebrate the Covidiot being infected. This president will never be presidential or a decent human being even if he recovers he will be same..
parade of assholes impeding traffic both directions around our outerbelt this morning.
I haven’t seen this. Who? Where?

Anyone I have met today is laughing about this. Obviously I don't wish that the man was dead, but hopefully he has some kind of "saw the light" moment.
i understand the sentiment. but come on, teachers, there's a time and place. i shouldn't have to sit my daughter down, which i just did, and tell her it's never ok to be happy that someone is ill.
jesus christ.
Have an adult conversation with the TEACHER about it. You might be surprised by how well the conversation goes. If you're not satisfied with her response, THEN go to the principal. That's how adults do things. Be the adult, if you think she has not been.
I for one am so grateful to be on camera all day long so students can no longer misinterpret or lie about my actions or their own behavior without checking the recording for evidence. All of a sudden, parent complaints about teachers are at an all time low at my school. I think I will advocate for continued cameras in the classroom when this is all over.
I chose to not even mention the president with my students, many of whose families are now waiting for the round of ICE raids that were launched this week to separate them. No need to traumatize these children further by saying his name.
"that's how adults do things". gee, thanks for the insult.
Your impulse before you even had the updated version from your daughter was to run and tattle on the teacher. I'm glad you opted to get clarification from her. If you are really interested in modeling conflict resolution with her, speak to the teacher. Sorry I insulted you by describing the way adults do things.
The doctor who’s in charge of his treatment is due to give an update! He’s about 1/2 hour late what are the chances there’s inner conflict as to what info he gives the nation?

Meh. He/she is a teacher. I am in a family of teachers. They deal with parents coming after them so much they really wish they'd act like adults.

yes, i was upset. did i act on that impulse? no. i clarified with my daughter. and there is no longer a need to address it.
originally she said it was "some teachers and students", so yes, if true, that would warrant going to directly to the principle. it's not within my means to call a meeting with the entire school staff.
upon clarification, she said it was one teacher and and EA having a conversation she and a few others overheard, and she told me exactly what was said, so, I figured it was no longer needed to address.
see, that's how adults do things.
but hey, thanks for the "advice". LOL

If I say what I feel and am thinking I’m afraid I might get put in timeout. At any rate “it is what it is”
You are not alone. But it's cool, nothing to regret on the high road.
Lol if I took the low road my only regret would be being put into time out. If you thought he was a dangerous facist on the verge of dictatorship when you went to sleep two days ago and wish him well now, there is straight up something wrong with you. *note general you not anyone specifically

These people are complete idiots if they still believe this shit:
"“It’s a hoax. There’s no pandemic. As Trump said, how many millions die
of flu?” said the 56-year-old truck driver outside the early voting
station in St Joseph, Missouri – a stronghold for the president."

Chris Christie too now. The incompetence of the Republican party to let this happy this close to the SC being filled and the election blows my mind.
no way all of these people survive. not hoping, just stating a statistical probability, especially given the age and fitness of many of these people.
I bet they all make it through
Oh I think so as well. The statistics still support people surviving this, in a very large way. That is not to minimize who it does kill but just because Trump and Christie are massively obese doesn't mean they will die. They will get top care and I think will be ok through this. Being old and a huge person does make you a risk but there is enough hydroxy for them both.

No doubt plus the care the president & administration gets is not the same as us peasants get in a hospital!
