    What blows me away is how bold Putin has become- threatening the US with very strong language that it never dared in the last four decades.

    And Trump says nothing. 

    Russia knows the US is under the leadership of a neutered puppy right now. Putin and Russia do not respect the US and realistically... why should they?

    How so?
    Well it depends on the topic.

    1) You tell Russia that you know they meddled in the election and you impose sanctions. You decline meetings with Putin and only discuss diplomatically in private with no fan fare.
    2) You have tough dialogue in private with specific goals and requirement or you impose even more sanctions 
    3) You verbally go after Putin if the meddling continues or other requirements not met

    basiclaly you lead.

    Russia right now is getting away with everything. That’s not good for the USA, Europe or really anyone other than Russia.
