We now have champions for Ten (Release), Vs (Rearviewmirror), Vitalogy (Corduroy) and No Code (Present Tense)
We will now play to determine the GREATEST song on the album Yield.

For anyone new to the game:
You are going to pick the song that you think is the "Weakest Link" after 2 days I remove the three (3) songs with the most votes.
We will then move on to Round 2. - Remember you are voting to eliminate songs from contention.

Note - Since Pearl Jam albums generally have more than 10 songs (which is all I can put in a poll), if you want to vote for:

11. Faithfull; Just don't vote and put Faithfull in your comments.
12. Given To Fly; Just don't vote and put Given To Fly in your comments.
13. Wishlist; Just don't vote and put Wishlist in your comments.

Again REMEMBER 3 songs will be eliminated in the first round.

Round 1 Poll will end 4/2/17 (Sunday) at 2:30pm cst

Poll--The Weakest Link: Yield Round 1 112 votes

The 1st round will eliminate 3 songs, but remember songs must have at least 10 votes to be eliminated.

The only choice really. If an actual song gets enough votes for elimination, I'll be bummed. I get that Round 2 will be Pilate vs Push Me Pull ME, but do the right thing here people. We're in this for the long haul.

Yeah, and don't vote for Pilate cuz it rocks!! lol
I know it's headed out early, but it really rocked my world at San Siro and ever since.

The only person that can get away with recording a song about how much they love their dog is Cat Stevens.
I would take Nickelbacks photograph over Pearl Jam singing about loving a dog.

Voted Red Dot (obviously as is says so above) but was very tempted to go after Pilate - my least favourite 1990's album track/song by the band. I don't really count Red Dot but understand why it's listed here.

Can't help but wonder if Pilate and even PMPM make it through to the next round. If not, the voting will begin to get very difficult.

Maybe. I think I'd rather include Black, Animal, Immortality, and In My Tree (previous runner ups) over potential winner like Severed Hand, Unthought Known, and Pendulum.

(Come to think of it, I am very unsure about which songs will win Binaural through Lightning Bolt).

I always just kinda listen to it as if it were an interlude to MFC. On its own, it can't hang with the big boys.

I wonder how many Red Dotters would complain if Jack Irons showed up and jammed w/ PJ at the RRHOF to this song.

I certainly would not complain. It's only the "weakest link" on the album, imo. It's not a bad little jam by any means.

None. Just like none were disappointed when it came on as the entrance song in Milwaukee. Whole bunch of ten clubbers in the pit singin All Crazy? I'd do that again. And it's short enough not to skip. Problem is, it's less of a song than Bugs or Aye. Therefore, weaker than the other tracks that are actually songs.

Red Dot obviously but we are picking 3. Could have gone Pilate as well.

OP what is with not listing the songs in album order in the polls? It's like you are picking your top songs and leaving them off the first poll. I smell bias...
Anything you lose from being honest
You never really had to begin with.

Sometimes it's not the song that makes you emotional it's the people and things that come to your mind when you hear it.

I liked the idea for him. Makes things easier.

Even though you voted Wishlist (why? I might add)... those three songs aren't going out first round.

I feel like I'm his defence attorney.

    ^^^ Agreed.

I've never counted Red Dot as a song so my vote goes for Pilate. Never a big fan of that one.

I'm not a huge fan of Pilate, but I love the lyrics "Stunned by my own reflection, it's looking back sees me too clearly."
