I FINALLY had some vanilla flavored vodka... they added lemonade to it... it was YUMMMY. nice break from beer
I think the OP would tell you vodka is meant to be drunk STRAIGHT.
nothing straight about your concoction.
Oooops... oh well. I messed up bigly. i will drink fireball STRAIGHT... on the rocks. (Yes, I know it is not vodka.. what is it actually? whiskey with red hots in it??) i really don't know
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me

That's what I drink too! And on the rocks, not as a shot. Also good mixed with Dr. Pepper. Who knew!
Tonight, I am drinking lemon drops with a few MMJ lemon drops tossed in. Best of both worlds!

A little lady on the rocks. No olives, although it has been stated elsewhere that blue cheese stuffed olives are the best....I hold to the standard martini olive as the best.
blue cheese stuffed olives sound a bit gay. NTTAWWT.
If I had known then what I know now...

Alright, alright...I’m the guilty one who made this suggestion. You guys have to try it. Vodka, rocks, couple blue cheese stuffed olives. That’s it. You’ll thank me later.

I've tried it. A good friend swears by them in his martinis. I ended up throwing it the jar if olives after a bit. I like blue cheese but sonetsome about the combo didn't work for me. Tried garlic olives as well....nah
A great friend sent me Tomolives and I love those in martinis now. So good. Try them out.
^ Ive seen jalapeño stuffed olives too. I love olives and jalapeños separately but the combo sounds disgusting especially in vodka. I’m usually pretty simple and don’t put much of anything in my drinks.

It is actually a pickled tomato, even though they call it a Tomolive. (It looks similar to an olive.) Jalapenos might be good in there. I am simple with my vodka as well -- unless I am setting out to drink it all day (bad idea) there is little chance I am drinking it in any other form than "Rocks" or "Martini". I do enjoy eating a snack at the bottom of the martini.
One exception I will make -- have you had this? Firefly, Jeremiah Weed (my preferred), Deep Eddys...they are all good. Pour some out over a few ice cubs and squeeze a little lemon in there. Delicious. My friends in the Dirty South pitched this to me for a good 10 years before one night when we actually ran out of good vodka at fishing camp and I had little choice but to try. Sometimes these things work out. (If a person is not a rocks person, they can splash a little water or make sure to add a few more rocks and swirl around to melt quickly)
